Legislators can pass all the anti-gun, anti-bullying, anti-<insert additional cause of mass shootings here> laws they want. Those laws aren't gunna do shit if Law Enforcement doesn't use or enforce them
Parkland is the prime example of that. That shooting was easily prevented by using existing laws & regulations. The Sheriff & FBI just didn't do their jobs
law enforcement is a reactive element. its ability to prevent crime henges on its ability to handle criminals and investigations with the upmost standards. however when you throw mental health into the equasion that does not matter, no amount of law enforcement can prevent dangerous insanity which is why dangerous insanity has been a threat throughout writen history. i agree that law enforcement should be improved thats near the end of my statement, however thats not the only factor here and infact law enforcement like most other plans helps deal with other problems the country is facing far more than school shootings
