@Undead Mockingbird "I wonder if new technology can claw back some government control." We're already seeing software come on line that makes bureaucracy easier to manage for the individual. A lot of government power relies on governments intimidating people with their opaque procedure. Traditionally this required experts... often specialized lawyers to be able to interface with these institutions in a productive manner. This makes doing so expensive for anyone that doesn't just have a legal team on retainer or hasn't contracted a company that does.
However, technology can through a series of multiple choice questions navigate your situation and determine the solution.
You already see this with tax programs, similar software exists for parking ticket appeals. There isn't any reason for software that does this to address every government bureaucracy. You key in your situation, and the system fills 50 different forms in triplicate and then emails/faxes/mails them at the relevant departments.
technology is inherently neutral, it can be used for good/evil, Statism/Anarchism, pollution/conservation, and etc. It's the people that matter not the tech, if you have people that prefer big brother keeping tabs on everyone then you will get that whether it is through FISA warrants collecting your entire digital footprint or informants using the ol' Mk I eyeball. Do not rely on technology to save you, convince others that big government is bad.
i hate people.
"since trump, the economy is booming" -> "mimimi that's way too much growth too fast, that's unhealthy, that will collapse. trump let's the economy grow too fast"
"the trade war might slow down economic growth" -> "mimimi, omg the growth is slowing down, trade war will crush our economy. trump let's the economy go into recession"
same person, 6 months timedifference ...
I wish I were seeing some of that improved economy. Still pretty bleak here.
MGTOW is probably the best thing you can do in this day in age, the family court system is against men in all factors like child visit time durations and divorce assets distribution. Furthermore, the amount of false rape accusations have dramatically increased due to the legal system hiding the identities of false accusers even when they are proven guilty all the while discriminating and ruining mens careers all do to he said she said arguments.
Just find yourself a cute trap if you need feminine significant 'other' 😉
Whether there is an uptick in false accusations remains to be seen and is a matter of contention. If we're discussing raw numbers then if there is an increase of accusations as a whole then the truthful as well as false will both rise. If we're discussing as a ratio to accusations well... that's up for debate.
Yeah lol just get a nice gf(bf)
women are obsolete

I believe people shouldn't be accountable for their follower's actions. Does anyone agree?
depends
^
Yea if someone reports an influencer for their follower's doxing someone the influencer shouldn't be punished unless there is a direct order from the influencer.
For the actions taken? Not in the least. I feel it sends the implied message that the influenced isn't entirely responsible for their own actions, that others are in part to blame. In truth that individual made a conscious decision to do what ever act they committed. They alone are to blame for performing it.
Holding others accountable also runs the risk of punishing those for things being taken out of context and acted upon. Some might take jokes seriously or hyperbolic comments when the person making them had no real intent to endorse said things.
So you are saying if i say “go kys” to someone its not my fault they did it or is it cyberbullying
Just yeet them my dude
If someone kills themselves over that, they probably deserve it. The world isn't made for the weak
@Deleted User It's not your fault if they did even if it were cyber bullying. At the end of the day we decide what actions we take. The only real exceptions are when our intelligence is so low that we are not legally able to take care of ourselves. In those cases I can see holding someone responsible as it would be manipulating someone who couldn't know better. For the vast majority of the population however they have the capacity to think about their actions and how they might impact others or even just themselves then carefully consider whether or not they should go through with it.
Frankly, to me, it's not much different from the age old "well if your friends did this..." where someone attempts to justify their actions by pointing to others. What others say or do is moot and doesn't justify our own actions and they should not feel any sense of responsibility lifted because of that.
@Infidelcastro That's a pretty harsh pov
Cyberbullying is just. Words really online
Problem is its not a cyberbullying issue, its a mental issue. We dont really have a system in place to find disturbed individuals online. And such a system will require a humungous amount of survelience bordering on the authoritharian
Im talking how easy it is to actually trigger schinzophrenics or actual crazies out there.
When you put a magnifying glass to their behaviour.
Cyberbullying isn't just. It's cowardly and shows one as weak enough that they had to resort to lowly tactics. It is generally bad and frowned upon if you harass, threatens or doxx someone.
Rather than saying "go kys", just say "go fuck yourself"
I think the line is between the digital and meatspace.
