wow 202 mph tailwind

2018-01-19 03:25:40 UTC

reached 776 mph groundspeed

2018-01-19 03:25:45 UTC

in a 787

2018-01-19 03:26:35 UTC

somehow that's still only mach .85 and not 1.0 to go supersonic

2018-01-19 03:26:38 UTC

but geeze

2018-01-19 04:21:50 UTC

Depends on the IAS. Wouldn't have gotten high enough cause it's riding on the tailwind.

2018-01-19 04:22:26 UTC

IAS was .85

2018-01-19 04:23:04 UTC

in either case 200+ tailwind is crazy

2018-01-19 05:19:18 UTC

Yeah, too bad the 787 isn't rated for Mach

2018-01-19 07:23:42 UTC

Breaking sound barrier requires more speed at lower pressures

2018-01-19 07:24:08 UTC

Then again a 787 is about .02Mach faster than a BA 777 which held the original record.

2018-01-19 14:21:28 UTC

@i509VCB Mach is relative to the pressure surrounding you, though. The 787 is faster, but it flies at a higher altitude, ergo its typical speed as measured in Mach is lower

I have the option to add 4 sponsors per month. So basically sundays would be videos that are advertorial, half news, half product demo, then the next three videos would have a preroll for that company.

2018-01-19 18:30:01 UTC

what do ya'll think

2018-01-19 18:30:03 UTC

worth it?

2018-01-19 18:34:42 UTC

as long as it doesnt impact the quality of the videos, why not?

2018-01-19 18:38:39 UTC

itll turn sundays video into an advertorial

2018-01-19 18:38:48 UTC

I mean, most people dont do videos everyday anyway

2018-01-19 18:39:02 UTC

but instead of a google ad in the beginning its just me giving a shoutout

2018-01-19 18:39:06 UTC

like ive been doing

2018-01-19 18:39:19 UTC

and thurs-sat would have no sponsor

2018-01-19 18:42:59 UTC

As long as the quality increases it's all good

2018-01-19 18:43:39 UTC

You the expert on this. From what you see currently, how sustainable is this?

2018-01-19 18:43:56 UTC

it means i can get an office and hire people

2018-01-19 18:44:18 UTC

you should monitor the views if you do it that way before you plan with the money

2018-01-19 18:44:25 UTC

i see no negative impact

2018-01-19 18:44:36 UTC

or should say

2018-01-19 18:44:37 UTC

minor

2018-01-19 18:44:43 UTC

Going the dailywire and rubin report route?

2018-01-19 18:44:44 UTC

but its mixed with many people excited and a few people upset

2018-01-19 18:44:58 UTC

i want to hire investigators

2018-01-19 18:45:13 UTC

thing is, if you have the advertorials on a schedule people might skip those

2018-01-19 18:45:15 UTC

I'd personally be fine with it if the advertising was limited to a minor section.

2018-01-19 18:45:32 UTC

Actually no idea, but dailywire has them doing those adverts.

2018-01-19 18:45:42 UTC

Helps that they do it live as well.

2018-01-19 18:45:48 UTC

I.E. a moment of 'this video is sponsored by X' before the video, but no more than that.

2018-01-19 18:46:03 UTC

Yeah I don't mind the ads, having a small team would certainly offset that

2018-01-19 18:46:07 UTC

the deal would be one advertorial per week

2018-01-19 18:46:15 UTC

and small plugs in the beginning of three videos

2018-01-19 18:47:13 UTC

if you treat them like ads on the radio and some online pod casts, like the daily wire, then i don't think its that big a problem. its just getting the ads right from the source rather than praying to all mighty google for some crumbs
