Why add federalism to an already federalist society? I get it, but the logic could easily be extended to the complete dissolution of the U.K. as well. The EU seems to have a lot of other things with their mandates which don’t apparently go back to the individual states for evaluation. The mandates on immigration for the refugees seems to be first and foremost on that list.

well... trump comes off as someone who thinks in a very... me against everyone else kind of way, so it is not surprising that he sees the eu as a "foe" because the eu is clearly not the usa.
as for the lawyer dog... its more that the system works against incoherent people because that sentence made absolutely no sense - just say "i want a lawyer" if you want one. Instead he said that he feels that they thought that he "did it", said that he knows that he "did not do it", asked why they don't give him a lawyer & called someone a dog (or asked why they don't give him a lawyer dog) and then told them that some direction is not up. even if he did not use the word "dog" he would not have asked for a lawyer, he asked why they did not give him one. I know it's pedantic but well... it's technically correct and that is the best way of correct. 😒

“When they approached him, he tried to push their hands away,” Chief Waller said. “He started flailing and swinging away, trying to make an escape. And as he made an escape, he reached for the gun.”
Chief Waller said the police recovered a semiautomatic weapon from the man, whom he did not believe was licensed to carry a concealed gun. The man has not been identified.
