The judge in this case knows the deal. He knows that Manafort is probably going to walk, or at best get off with time served and a small fine. And the judge has been shitting all over the prosecution since day one because he knows this is a political farce. I think this hearing could be the judge letting people embarrass themselves further.

There's no way the judge is actually going to unseal anything, but he'll let the media make ridiculous partisan arguments and further degrade their credibility before shutting them down.
