it's related to imposing term limits and possibly repealing another amendment. And it's an attempt to possibly reel in the federal government by preventing carerr politicians. Also it's a power granted in the Constitution

KRAZZ, you could look at it the other way. If they know they can't rely on the job and won't be able to be punished they are far more likely to make the most of having that power while they do. Back handers are a huge proplem and this could easliy make it worse.
