Often, these same people call for firings of others when it suits them, but now Defend Gumm for being more liberal leaning. They’re making a claim of additional shady behavior.

The FEC stuff isn’t going to go anywhere. It’s rarely prosecuted, and it would result in a fine. Plus if they did purse it with Trump, they would have to hit Hillary with the same charge for paying for the Steele Dossier. Which was also undisclosed, and in a much higher amount of money.

Ah I wouldn't be so confident about that. Nothing will probably happen to Hilary because the media is on her side and will obfuscate, ignore, or outright lie in her defense. But the same is not true for Trump. They're already grasping for any and every reason to bring him down. If they see this as a way, you can trust them to do whatever they can to get it done.
