I don't imagine it will change any minds but I must use my speech to counter speech I find reprehensible. The Third Reich was evil. It was profane down to its DNA. Read Mein Kampf. Its leaders, other than Hitler perhaps, were thieves. Hitler supported the kleptocracy. Thier treatment of thier disabled, thier misfits, and thier Roma was immoral at best. Thier treatment of Jews was not only criminal but also dumb. They were imperialist and would not have stopped short of world dominion - again read Hitler's own words. The greatest gift to mankind the US has ever given, other than constitutional government itself, was, with extreme prejuduce ridding the world of the Nazi cancer.

I'm pretty sure any economy would fail when you're being pressured by literally every remaining great power in the world.
Heck, a unified front like that would probably wreck the modern day American economy, let alone a wartime Germany's.

An easy thing to say in a world where they didn't.
Do you mean they could've won WW2?
Could they have won the World War II that happened? I believe the chances were slim, but possible.
Could they have won variant, hypothetical World War II's? Absolutely.
Their chances were close to zero in winning, they were facing off against three of the biggest world powers at the time.
If they managed to take Britain (unlikely, but so was the capitulation of France), and the colonies took that opportunity to muster independence instead of maintaining a united front, that leaves an isolated Eastern Front. If Russia fell quickly enough, then America could easily look at the situation and decide it's not worth it anymore.
The key is not fighting all the world powers at the same time.
The problem in that is; how do you capitulate Britain?
