.mkv is the only recording format i found that still the start of its recording when a critical failure happens, like a power loss

(also tried recovery programs, all i could find, feeding it header and ender data from a non corrupt file, splitting and recombining the data, i mean there was multiple gigs of data there, but its all useless appearently, non recoverable)
