thoughts on removing "in god we trust" from currency?
Against
Under the modern-day standards, ADD/ADHD is disqualifying only if the applicant has been treated with ADD/ADHD medication within the previous year and/or they display signs of ADD/ADHD.
For applicants with a previous history of ADD/ADHD who have been off medication for more than one year, and who do not demonstrate significant impulse activity or inattention during entrance processing, the examining official may find them qualified for military service without submission of a waiver.
thoughts are "it doesn't matter one way or another, so leave it"
@LotheronPrime IN GOD WE TRUST STAYS
God is shorthand for "luck/truth/the universe"
I used to have ADHD and was in the Navy.
Not the US Navy though.
I was diagnosed with ADD/ADHD/Depression
Can the phrase. It's a leftover remnant of one of our most embarrassing periods.
in god we trust was added in the mid to late 1950s.
Yeah I don't see the point in you guys keeping some cold war nonsense
remnant of our most embarrassing period... you mean the last 200+ years?
it's not their fault they thought bellbottom pants and afros were cool.... they were too high to realize!
diabetes, high blood presure those ones deny your entry to the army
@N.Rondain I'll take all your hard currency your embarressed by
dont know what happens if ya get em while in the military
I think it was on our currency before the 50s, no?
It was a cold war addition iirc
I got lucky and only had diabetes after I was discharged.
thats not lucky
havign diabetes is not lucky
i think it would have been lucky to never have it O.o
I thought that was just the pledge of allegiance that was 50s
it might have appeared here or there, but it was mandated on all currency in the 50s
Well that part isn’t lucky ya.
it was also the 50s
oh ok
gotta fight those "godless commies"
yeah it's a pointless addition
but meh
its close to breaking the first amendment imo.
