I have to ask... Did you put your cheesecake on the floor for this picture?
I'm not going to lie it would last about 2 seconds on the floor with my kids around 🙈
For sure!
No dogs in my house yet... 5 kids keep us busy!
Stuffed portabella mushrooms
With beef, homemade tomato sauce, more mushrooms, and kitchen pepper
Made some pizza. Unfortunately I'm a type 2 diabetic, but I'm working on a pizza dough recipe that is low carb/keto that doesn't taste like garbage
This one is okay
It will be worth it for good pizza
Thanks. It tasted pretty good. It's a combo of almond flour and oat fiber, and it's a yeasted dough. Next one will be a almond flour /mozzarella cheese dough
Luckily my kids love it too. This thing was gone in less than 5 minutes
Berry smoothie. Kids are always hungry 😎
I've been using kitchen pepper for a lot of my meats lately, especially beef and pork. I make it myself from several spices. My whole family loves it.
1 Tsp Ground Ginger
½ Tsp Ground Ceylon Cinnamon
2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
½ Tsp Grated Nutmeg
½ Tsp Ground Allspice
¼ Tsp Ground Cloves
2 Tsp Salt
Best part is you can mix and match to your taste.
It's an old spice combo from Revolutionary War Era America
Do you do that with recipes?
That's awesome. I didn't think of it. Nice work!
True ☝️
I just did a strip steak last week and used this as a dry rub. It was amazing
Well, I did one for me and one for my wife. Happy wife happy life
European measurements are just fine for us!
I hate to admit that I don't know what that is, but I'll admit it anyway. What trailer?
I haven't had Netflix in years... No wonder I'm out of touch 🙈
This looks disgusting though
Friends and family discount?
Sorry that was supposed to be funnier than it came across as
I thought I'd be more libertarian...
I think it's pinned
Keto-ish pizza that doesn't taste like garbage
Dough:
2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese
1 cup almond flour
Any toppings you want
Melt the cheeses and combine with flour to make dough, put on parchment paper on a pan, bake at 425 fahrenheit for 8 minutes, flip over for another 5 minutes to crisp it up (use a 2nd sheet of parchment paper, be careful not to burn yourself!)
Take it out and let cool for 5 minutes, drop oven temp to 350 fahrenheit, add toppings and cheese, or whatever you want, put back into the oven for 6-8 minutes. Set your oven to broil if you want to singe your cheese/crust a little. Give it a few minutes to cool, cut and serve!

@[TDE] Smokie sorry for the duplicate post, it would not allow me to attach a pic to the original text.
That looks fantastic
I don't drink because I'm a cheap SOB... That's really about it. Can't justify spending the money
True. Moderation is key
As with all things
Keto Orange Creamsicle in a Mason jar
In a pint jar
8 oz heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp orange extract
1.5 tbsp confectioners sugar substitute (I used Lakanto Monkfruit/Erythritol, but whatever you use)
Optional: Orange food coloring (I use Watkins brand because it's natural) I didn't use enough hence the pepto bismol color... I used 12 drops to get it to this color. It would probably take 20+ to get to light orange. But it's optional
Put it together, shake for a few minutes, throw it in the freezer for a few hours. Tastes great!
Also, if you are not going to eat it right away, use Allulose instead of other Erythritol sweeteners. The erythritol freezes solid over days, where Allulose keeps soft. More carbs on allulose though, just an FYI
Thanks!
The beatings helped me remember
This has been such an interesting night
Too cliché though
I hate to say it... But mine was "This is dumb" they did not put that in the yearbook though
Can't imagine...
Hard to believe that was 20 years ago
Also, genocides of the past happened in the past. If people really want to get enraged they should focus on what's happening in Darfur, or Myanmar, or western China. Just for example. Put effort into the here and now
They need an enemy that is more tangible
Like this
Haven't seen evidence because of the media they watch
Me too
Need to purge out the conservatives on YouTube I see 🙈
Ngl I was watching a video about making homemade cheddar cheese... I don't think it's political 🙈🙈🙈🧀🧀🧀
But it's yellow cheese...
Oh shoot well I should apologize for my Native American racism
Low carb fries,
12g carbs in 1/4 cup flour, but 11g are dietary fiber, so 1 net carb per serving
Ready a pan with oil in it heating to about 325 degrees fahrenheit (or higher, most cook tops have not-so-handy info like low or high, in this case put it on high)
1 cup sweet lupin flour
1 tbsp Xanthan Gum
1/2 tsp salt
4 oz hot water
Add dry ingredients to a food processor and mix with a dough attachment. Add all but about a tablespoon of hot water, mix for a few seconds, then add the rest of the water. Mix until it becomes a dough ball. Knead for one minute, roll it out on parchment paper and cut into fry shapes. Spread them out in the oil in the pan and fry for a couple minutes. Different sizes will take more or less time to cook. Remove from oil and but on a paper towel/ plate. Hit with a little salt right away.
You can pan fry, or fry in a basket, or bake in a 400 degree farenheit oven for 15-20 minutes. Just watch them to make sure they don't burn.
Good alternative for diabetics because the carbs are over 90% dietary fiber, which helps control blood sugar.
I've been using my kitchen pepper a lot on beef. The recipe is pinned from sometime in August. It's a pretty mild seasoning though. May not be up your alley
@The Squawk 🦅 I love the stuff you posted yesterday. Looks great! I need to give that a try
It's got to be hard in Alaska to get stuff. Are you near a city?
If my memory is any good the notion of purgatory is originally from Dante's Inferno. It's been a while for me since I studied it though.
I'm not sure how to feel tbh. I want everyone to get some benefits of a stimulus, but I hate that we are mortgaging our future for it. Kicking the can down the road even more
I sell commodity framing lumber. My 2020 was insane. Demand was crazy all year. It still is
Yeah I remember all the old things, bringing in the TV from the AV room
You could drive a stick shift though. Just a little practice and you'd be fine
Carefully 🙈
Back when you had to attach aluminum foil to the rabbit ears and hang it outside your window to get 3 stations
Can't we all just get along?
Keto/low carb chocolate chip cookies. I'm amazed how good these taste...
Low carb cinnamon rolls before baking
And finished
Santa liked his low carb chocolate chip cookies!
Horizontally challenged
Also, my recipe for the cookies are: to make 1 layer of the cookie sandwich
3/4 cup Softened butter
1/3 cup Granular Sweetener - I use Lakanto Monkfruit, but whatever works for you
1/2 cup sukrin gold brown sugar - again sub any brown sugar you want
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2-1/2 cups almond flour
1/2 cup oat fiber
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1- 9 Ounce Bag Sugar free Chocolate Chips - I use Lilly's Semi Sweet, but I've used others like Lakanto semi sweet and that worked fine
Bake at 350 fahrenheit until it looks good and can pull a toothpick out without getting dough on it. Took me about 20 minutes.
The "frosting" is just
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp contectioners sweetener - I use Lakanto again, but use what works for you.
Just combine and wisk for a few minutes, either by hand or by a hand mixer.
We had a birthday today, and my new 5 year old wanted pizza and cookies. Daddy delivered big time. 1 regular yeasted flour pizza, one keto pizza, and a 2 layer keto cookie dessert with white cream frosting in between. We have 5 kids, so we had to make a bunch of food.
I got out having a couple slices of the keto pizza and a cookie sandwich for less than 20 carbs. Pretty happy about that! Not pictured are the steamed carrots and baked yams. Because those are just not pretty enough
@Quill i will definitely try that! I have stripped down the recipe on the keto pizza to its most basic parts. The dough is only almond flour, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese. I have not yet added in any spices back yet.
Yeah for sure I will be adding to it. Thanks for the suggestions!
@Mauler i hear you are the man that pins! I edited in a recipe from a couple hours ago. Thank you sir!
I don't care what anyone says about you. You're all right by me!
🙈
Try the recipe first, then make it your own. I do it constantly. It's fun to tweak things to make them better. Most online recipes are good, but not great
Better as in to suit your taste. Eventually you'll know what you like and will be able to wing it.
Working on a board game / dining room table right now.
I had to get creative. My shed is 10x12,but it stores a bunch of stuff too.
Table top is glued together
Haha I got those from Facebook market place 🙈
It's inside for now. Just finishing the glue ups for the trestle underside
Ideally it will looks like this on the underside. All wood joinery
