what is keeping you from learning it <:KEK:726877368601411624> ?
my dad was so bored with the quarantine, he started ripping apart the basement and renovated everything. if this continues, we might have to buy a second house for him to work on
Honestly? I've been busy beating old Pokemon games and forgot that I had some stuff for knitting.
basically just read my textbook, then <:KEK:726877368601411624> i can do that
But also now that it's colder, I feel the urge to knit myself a hat
that's awesome. gotta keep the head warm
I figure I'm pretty good at making stuff out of paracord so I'm hoping it isn't something I struggle to pick up
has any of you guys used omegle?
I was going to do some woodworking, but I don't have enough materials
no. are you planning to use it?
Maybe once or twice years ago but not recently
ooh. paracord is great. i worked with some back in grade 8 and made simple bracelets and stuffs, but never the advanced stuffs. how good are you with it
I have been, but it stopped working.
oof. your project requires specific woods?
Pretty good. I can make any pattern or weave you've seen, mostly stick with bracelets but I've made dog collars and leashes, cat toys, etc
Not really, but I don't have a ton of spare wood. I'm not good enough to require specific woods yet lol
is local your home depot not open?
Working on a board game / dining room table right now.
We have a Lowe's, but I'm still quarantined. Mostly I just make little things like a candle stand with a built in slot for a book of matches
I really want to graduate to making larger things but I really don't have the space
ooh, sounds good. how far along are you with it?
makes sense. i'd really love to see you document the stuff you made to see your progress
Table top is glued together
I also don't have clamps that large lol
That looks awesome though
Haha I got those from Facebook market place 🙈
It's inside for now. Just finishing the glue ups for the trestle underside
Ideally it will looks like this on the underside. All wood joinery
This was the first one I made. Sized it for a large Yankee candle, and you can see where you slide the match box in

What that?
Candle holder with a space for you to keep a book of matches
Ow nice!
That's pretty awesome @mikeflarkin
i had to google what is a yankee candle lmao
wouldn't it be better if there is a circular dip so the glass jar don't slip?
Needly maked
I thought about that, but I wasn't confident in my ability to do it well. For the most part though the candles that size aren't moving around a ton
looks impressive. have you think about the colour you want to paint it yet?
