Have I got a story for y'all. As you may know, COVID-19 is real, but is drastically blown up and is political. To make Trump look bad of course. Anyways, my mother's friend owns multiple nursing homes in North Carolina. They were forced to test the elders each week, and they noticed they were all coming back positive. So, they ran their own tests. They put some COVID-19 tests in cola, tap water, baby oil, spit, etc. They ALL came back positive. COVID is dramatized.

I agree. Satan tries to confuse us and make it easier to give up searching for truth. I don't know how open-minded you are, but I recommend reading the Book of Mormon. You can read it for free on your phone, and see if it correlates with your views and the Bible. My family discovered it and it is a powerful book, and has strengthened our relationship.
@DannyNC1 I am sorry you feel this way. However, I feel that you would be better fit with an argument after reading. After that, then tell me how you feel. And if you don't agree with the writings, then at least you are a little bit more informed on our religion. It is an interesting book, and is about the people of the Americas. Yet again, if you don't like it, you don't like it.

@DeButcher I honestly agree. The bible is completely supportive of Christianity. But the Book of Mormon isn't needed to support Christianity, but it supports Mormonism's view on Christianity. To us, it is needed. But even if you aren't trying to convert, it is interesting to see views that millions have on Christianity in the americas.

@Conminer47 First of all, we believe that Jesus Christ "made up" the Church, but was later restored by Joseph Smith. He helped our church get where it is today, and he translated the Book of Mormon with divine help. Our "version" of heaven has 3 levels. Telestial is the lowest level, or hell. However, leaders have said in the past that hell is better than our earth is. The next is terrestial, in between hell and heaven. It is for those that aren't part of our church, but those who lived a good life. Also, members of our church and go to terrestial as well. The final kingdom is celestial. It is the most divine, and we will be able to progress eternally. This is the level of God and Jesus Christ. Each person is a case-by-case basis, and we will be judged according to our works and beliefs. It is important to mention that there are separate levels inside each kingdom as well. Also, for those who committed heinous crimes, they are sentenced to outer darkness. In addition, you cannot visit kingdoms above your own.
Actually, we do not. We believe families are eternal and separating the them isn't something we believe in.
@Conminer47 No there isn't. In fact, getting married and having children is the main goal of many of us here on earth. In addition to faith and good works of course. Also, in addition to your statement to another user, we believe that you ask forgiveness in prayer. When you take the sacrament, the sins you repented of during the week are forgiven.
That makes sense to me as well. While Mary was conceived sinless, she wasn't totally sinless. That's why people say The Virgin Mary i guess.
I mean, of course Mary made mistakes. But she didn't have sex out of wedlock. Which I believe is a sin.

@mathgrant I believe they could be forgiven. While it would certainly be a long and difficult process, it could happen. It depends on the actions you committed as well, or if you were forced to act in a certain way.

Oh interesting. I fully believe that you can be forgiven. My views are different than others on this server, but with dedication along with a broken heart and contrite spirit you can repent and become full again.

Yeah the whole problem is just ridiculous. Shouldn't have ever been a problem. Murdering the most innocent life form among humans shouldn't ever appeal to anybody.
The only acceptable reasons for abortion in my opinion are rape, incest, and medical issues. idk what you guys think, but I know that God wouldn't send a child to my future wife to kill her, unless it was part of a greater plan.
I believe that as well, and I strive to marry somebody who believes that. I would like to try and birth the baby, and get as far along as possible in the process. If, for example, my wife develops a severe medical issue and the baby is at week 24, we would likely go as far along in the process and then transfer the baby to an "artificial womb" while my wife goes under surgery.
Of course this is all speculation, but in this scenario that is what I would do.
It all depends on what we would feel like of course, and how we are guided. Wouldn't be an easy decision thats for sure

I agree with that statement as well, the less than 2% of these cases is made to support the 1.5 billion abortions in the past 50 years. Depressing. Your statement about rape does make sense tho, I guess just outright making it illegal except for life or death scenarios would be the best thing. Only 18 out of 100,000 mothers giving birth die, which is a dang good rate in my opinion.

The House with the Clock in its Walls was freakin creepy(for PG). We watched it as a family, and it definitely wasn't what I expected. Way too realistic for my little siblings. I thought it was gonna be a funny kinda show, certainly wasn't.
