I hope this is the right channel. Board games are games, right?
The North American Scrabble Players Association is moving to ban "offensive slurs" from tournament gameplay, in light of George Floyd’s highly publicized death making everyone desperate to appear non-racist. A word is “offensive” if every single definition of it in a dictionary is tagged “offensive” or the like, and a word is a “slur” if it refers to a person’s attributes mentioned in the NASPA Code of Conduct (such as race, gender, sexuality, and so on). Thus, it is highly likely that the so-called N-word that refers to blacks will be banned, but the so-called F-word that refers to gay men most likely wouldn’t be banned because, while it’s a “slur”, it’s not “offensive” because it can also mean “to make weary by hard work” (the 3-letter version) or “to bind together into a bundle” (the 6-letter version). The 4-letter S-word for 💩 probably won’t be banned because, while it’s obviously “offensive”, it’s not a “slur”.
IMHO, if the reason why we need to ban the N-word is because spelling out a word on a game board, devoid of all context, grammar, and meaning, is enough to inspire moral outrage and offense in minority groups who deserve to not have to see such awful words regardless of context, then the same should apply to the anti-gay F-words. Sure, the words have non-offensive meanings, but nobody in North America ever uses them, so arguably the words carry the same weight for gay men that the N-word does for blacks. Why should gay Scrabble players not have their feelings protected like black ones, just because the words that hurt *their* feelings can also vaguely and hypothetically mean other things?

@Dstar_Destroyer True, *home* Scrabble games can use any lexicon they want. But in tournament Scrabble, NASPA decides the lexicon. Really, removing slurs from the lexicon is mostly empty posturing, because the words you can play are constrained by the letters you randomly draw out of the bag, so if you wanted to play a slur on purpose just to troll your opponent, you'd have to make sub-optimal plays just to save the letters that make up the slur until you can play them all at once. (The slur that's most likely to come up in an actual game is the 3-letter one that results when you take the 7-letter word for a female homosexual and remove the last four letters, because it's a short word and all of its letters are pretty common.) The biggest effect that banning slurs has on the game is opening the door to a slippery slope of banning any word for any reason, which I personally oppose.
On a tangential note, Scrabble is a feminist's nightmare. "According to Hasbro, 83% of recreational Scrabble players 25 to 54 are female." (Source: <https://www.manhattan-institute.org/html/sorry-feminists-men-are-better-scrabble-11611.html>) And yet at the competitive level, the people memorizing all the obscure words (like QAT and QI) and using them to dominate games are mostly men.
Even before George Floyd was killed, there was a list of "offensive" words that were legal in tournament Scrabble, but not printed in the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary for home and school use. All the aforementioned slurs (except the F-words for gay men) were on that list, as are some amusing words like REDNECK, CRAPPER (but not CRAP), and one of my favorites, FEMINAZI. That last word will probably be treated as a slur and banned, but imagine: FEMINIST and NAZI are both legal in Scrabble (apparently, enough people use "nazi" without a capital N to not violate the "no proper names" rule of Scrabble), but if you combine them. . . slur!

Just curious: what would you folks say to someone on the left who says it's hypocritical for Lauren Chen to support Hong Kong protesters and not support BLM protesters? Maybe start by stating the Hong Kong people are protesting communist China, citing evidence of China's human rights violations, and the BLM people are protesting a total lie, citing evidence that the police don't discriminate against black people (more unarmed whites die than blacks every year, blacks are killed by cops in proportion to their criminality rates, etc.)? Also, if the two protests are truly equivalent, then the NBA should support both (or better yet, neither). Also also, if the protests are equivalent, show me where the Hong Kong people are destroying each other's stuff and killing each other as opposed to just fighting off the police. And show me the Hong Kong television stations calling the protesters mostly peaceful and canceling shows that depict cops positively in solidarity with the protesters, because if it turns out that American TV stations are allowed to continuously bash the country's leader and not be yanked off the air, but Hong Kong TV stations are controlled by the CCP, then the two protests lose some equivalency.

@Mauler I don't know what "Fames of war" is. There's a wargame called "Flames of War", but I'm not incredibly interested in complicated wargames with miniatures and stuff. In any event, I'm looking for a community devoted to tabletop gaming as a whole, not a single specific game (even if its fanbase happens to be anti-woke). I'm mostly into abstract strategy games (AbStrats), because they tend to have rules which are easier to learn and easier to teach to normies.
Hey, I'm fine with un-woke, and I'm fine with anti-woke. Un-woke is probably easier to invite other people to than anti-woke, but anti-woke may be safer in the long term.

To be clear, I'm looking for recommendations of a tabletop gaming community that isn't woke, and that's devoted to tabletop gaming more broadly than a single game. I used to log all of my tabletop game plays on a website that ends in "eek", which is how any rational person should be responding to the Burn Loot Murder movement, but instead the admins of this site decided to be woke af, so I'm not interested anymore.

I'm actually the designer of three such games, but I don't know what the server's views on shameless self-promotion for things being sold on other websites is. They're not quite pencil-and-paper games (like Hangman), and they're not miniatures games.
In any event, the website I used to use had pretty much every board game that ever existed, plus sister sites for tabletop RPG's and video games. As a database, it's pretty useful. As a place to log how often you've played each game you own, it's also useful. I just prefer not to give traffic to the site anymore because of the wokeness.
I've used Tabletop Simulator in the past for playing virtual board games. It's sort of a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none thing. Most games, in my opinion, benefit from being played elsewhere if possible because other sites and programs can enforce the rules more, but for games unavailable elsewhere, it's the simplest way to make those games playable.

One game I've gotten to play on Tabletop Simulator and have bought to hopefully play offline is Letter Jam: <https://czechgames.com/en/letter-jam/> It's a very thought-provoking word game where players can't see what letters they have, and have to give each other clues to help each other figure out their letters.
If you know the game Hanabi, it's like that game had a baby with a word game.
