!agree
they simply stressed the system enough to push it into a new equilibrium
in other words its way easier to shove a stick into the spokes of societies bicycle than it is to actually do something useful
guy gets off the bike and beats you into a bloody pulp
society is a delicate thing that should be treated with care, reckless idiocy is very dangerous
ive kindof been thinking they will go one way and the US will go the other, at least in burgerland here there seems to be building backlash
like people are starting to get seirously pissed
that is the only reason trump had any chance in hell of winning despite being an absolutely wretched candidate in pretty much every regard
silicon valley gets way more rep than they deserve
it probably wouldnt be that hard to dethrone them
as we all know, caring has a massive impact on the actual outcome ๐
to be honest it should probably be 'one of you will be shot at random every hour until you decide on a budget'
There needs to be less liability for failed operations
Kick doctors out that fail
But don't offload the cost of failure on people who needhelp
True, affirmative action is a cancer at this point
I like how my phone tried to auto fill "affirmative action is great"
Oh google
You and your agendas
Engineers are pretty important these days
Billions would not be able to go on living without them
They just act like it because they make way more money
If my father's car travels an average of 30 miles per hour and the gas station is 2.5 miles away, why has it taken him six years to go and get cigarettes
Ha
He was the ninja all along
thats kindof how the creators need to get right now
well what they do is not nothing
a lot of people live mainly off of very small contrbutions
that nobody would have bothered making if it wasnt really really easy
and patreon does do that quite well
they take a payment from the user that is big enough to absorb transaction fees
then disburse it to all of their funded creators
and they also get a single large payment
that absorbs transaction fees
most of those little contributions, if not consolodated, would have cost the person more and been more of a hassle to set up than they were worth
which would result in a massive drop in the mun muns
im not neccesarily saying it would be all that hard to dethrone patreon
hence, know your place delivery boy
what they do is valuable and tricky, but they are in an environment where many people could figure out those things
'man dies driving 3d printed car downloaded from 4chan designed to disconnect brakes above 50 miles per hour'
running out of battery and being unable to cycle the gun except manually for one
you would ideally have some way to draw a bit of power from the cartridges to drive the action
if not neccesarily via gas then something else
nobody likes needing two kinds of thing to make their gun work
the ammo
and then the other ammo
to make the first ammo work
maybe electromagnetically draw power from a coil along the bore of the barrel?
>shrug
then bullet passing through the coil induces current to drive the mechanism
i dunno how well that would work though
it would probably need to be a superconductor to generate enough power
well yes but if the bolt is reciprocating back under power already then what is the electricity even doing for you
are we talking purely doing away with a firing pin? i dunno that building a steam engine style crank to charge things up is actually simpler than a mechanical firing pin
well i mean unless its delayed blowback, there is no such thing as the bolt moving except via some kind of gas operation
well wait okay maybe the unlocking could be electronic
then the rest of the extraction is from the force of the casing being driven out of the barrel by gas force
so it electronically unlocks the bolt from the chamber instead of using gas to do that
and then the bolt goes back under residual gas pressure
that might actually be a fair bit simpler
wouldnt be nearly as fiddly to design either since you arent trying to magic correct bolt-unlock timing out of gas pressure and mechanical know-how
the whole reason why socialism doesnt work is because one doesn't simply just do that
you are trying to feed meat eaters grass, you are trying to make the ball roll uphill
i dont really see that there _is_ any such path, it would be such a complicated reprogramming that these retards clearly dont have the finesse for
pure socialists generally dont have what it takes to last long term
the reason attempts at socialist/communist societies fails consistently isnt the ideologues that started it
its the predators that immediately devour them and take over
as the socialist/communist conception of how humans think is proven so horribly wrong
that tens or hundreds of millions wind up dying before the damage can be undone
i think they see their enemies as kindof disgusting monsters
i just see socialists/communists as dangerously out of touch with reality
i have no problems with many socialist policies per say, but a purely socialist society would implode every time pretty much
you wouldnt even really have humans as we know them anymore if you got to a point where it worked
i think electrical locking would be very easy to achieve
you could recharge the system via a crank driven by the bolt as mentioned earlier
its potentially just a coil to shove the locking mechanism around
easier, no need for a gas piston
no need for super finely toleranced systems designed to release the locking at the exact right time off of gas pressure alone
that take years to perfect
its maybe two moving parts
little locks on either side of the bolt that extend and retract
insofar as you arent making a new gun at that point
either there is a fair bit of fiddling to do as your particular gas system is refined
or its another ar-15 derivative
well because potentially it would be cheaper
to have something that doesnt need these super toleranced parts
even the g3 needs a huge amount of machine work to make it precisely enough for it to run right
