yeah, my experience with byzantium is also either they expand really slowly, possibly due to unstable internal dynamics, or they collapse under pressure from the east

22k, if mostly heavy infantry, is not to be dismissed lightly. Don't know if polish culture gets heavy cavalry hussars, but if so, that can be quite deadly too

@DanielKO in CherryH there will be more crises in one game, with a small mid game crisis, and a late game crisis (which iirc you can change the values on both of those to have more than one)
