I also used it to buff the Byzantium Emperors to see if they'd try to reform Rome, but they didn't expand as much as i thought
yep, they usually do switch, which is sad
yeah, my experience with byzantium is also either they expand really slowly, possibly due to unstable internal dynamics, or they collapse under pressure from the east

22k, if mostly heavy infantry, is not to be dismissed lightly. Don't know if polish culture gets heavy cavalry hussars, but if so, that can be quite deadly too

fully upgraded holdings give massive boosts to combat effectiveness, alongside the already formidable tech boost
