Slovenia maybe?

2018-06-13 20:04:02 UTC

The shield could easily be obscured from that angle

2018-06-13 20:05:45 UTC

@Reaps
To be fair, they are at least closer to the real deal

That chickfile crap was a made up outrage

2018-06-13 23:49:16 UTC

Chickfile employes tons of gays and lesbians

2018-06-13 23:49:52 UTC

Progressives don't understand that being against gay marriage doesn't mean that they want to gas the gays

2018-06-13 23:49:58 UTC

they were just against the madatory abortion/birth control law. But the company is religious based. Hell they arnt even open sundays

2018-06-13 23:53:43 UTC

They really werent even against gay marriage lol. The groups they donated to did many things, gay marriage was an after thought, but a thought due to the charity backgrounds.

2018-06-13 23:53:47 UTC

Chick-fil-A donates to several Christian organizations, including The Marriage & Family Legacy Fund, The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the National Christian Foundation. According to its statement, Chick-fil-A has given the groups $1,714,199. None of the organizations the company supports has an โ€œanti-gayโ€ agenda, although as Christian groups, they do uphold and support heterosexual marriage, Donald A. Perry, the companyโ€™s vice president of corporate public relations, said in his statement.

2018-06-13 23:54:48 UTC

Fellowship of Christian Athletes do a lot of scholorships for christian athletes. That is their primary focus. The *pro hetero marriage* isnt their primary concern

2018-06-13 23:55:30 UTC

But even so. They didnt descriminate against their workers. Many of who are probably in a gay marriage.

2018-06-13 23:55:37 UTC

So false outrage

2018-06-14 01:01:11 UTC

Im not against gays. Im against public indecency and people runnin round the streets half naked with their ding dong basically stickin out while around children.

2018-06-14 01:25:18 UTC

Agreed. Used to be public decency to keep your sexual life behind closed doors.

2018-06-14 01:26:28 UTC

Hell there are tons of gays that do just that as well. Oddly they tend to be more christian or jewish. Wonder if there is a causation there between religious and decency, or just a corolation*

2018-06-14 01:26:44 UTC

i don't mind the pride parade, but that's not a excuse to act like a fucking retarded

2018-06-14 01:26:52 UTC

some stuff that happens it's just stupid

2018-06-14 01:27:16 UTC

Why does there need to be umpteen parades how ever many days, weeks and a month?

2018-06-14 01:29:05 UTC

I mean. We get it. Your gay. Who the hell cares really?

2018-06-14 01:29:37 UTC

Well other than Islamists...But they are buay looking for roofs to throw them off.

2018-06-14 01:33:04 UTC

Why does there need to be pride parades at all when the original goal was acceptance and normalization?

2018-06-14 01:33:35 UTC

They have it. Its celebration now, which reverses those gains.

2018-06-14 01:46:26 UTC

Yeah, it's celebration

2018-06-14 01:46:30 UTC

i don't bother about that

2018-06-14 01:46:49 UTC

but, the same rules that applies to anyone else, should apply to them

2018-06-14 02:45:48 UTC

Yeah, if anything as Caledus stated the pride parade does not normalize being gay or homosexual at all. It infact puts more attention to the subject encouraging more backlash to it or makinh it look like a "social fad" which does not do it any good either. I mean yeah understandable that at one point homosexuality needed attention to help address social issues, but I find it less of an issue these days. Most people dont give a shit if your gay or not as long as you are not sitting there constantly condecending on others beliefs.

2018-06-14 02:46:02 UTC

But theb again im just preaching to the choir.

2018-06-14 02:56:33 UTC

It also takes away from the *gay isnt a choice* arguement when it becomes a *cultural fad*

2018-06-14 02:58:49 UTC

I donโ€™t mean to change the subject too hard, but can I ask about the steel and aluminum tariffs? I understand that China is by far the biggest producer of those metals, and America is one of the biggest consumers. So why should we be concerned about protecting our steel/aluminum industries? I could see small tariffs on finished products, like foreign cars, computers, and electronics, which America makes a lot of. But our steel/aluminum companies can never hope to outstrip China in the long run, so why not encourage a transition from refining to manufacturing, domestically, and let China stay industrial and produce the materials which we can make more expensive, better stuff out of. China gets a customer, and we get cheap materials as we progress into our information economy. It seems a win/win, rather than the tariffs now where nobodyโ€™s really winning.

2018-06-14 03:05:51 UTC

Tarriffs are more than just that. The tarrifs are semi punishing. And honestly we arnt hurting badly from them. To be honest everyone overhypes chinas economic power. They really arnt that strong. And what i find ironic is the us pays high tariffs to many other countries on products, but the moment the US says anything about raising ours, not even to their level its bad.

2018-06-14 03:07:21 UTC

Do you know why? All those countries have many things on a socialist model. And use the tariffs to help pay the deficits that makes. So to tarriff back or them lowering there is would cause to many issies with their models. Notice though the moment it was mentioned about the allies, china was forgotren about by most nations m

2018-06-14 03:08:23 UTC

In the end its 80% political. The thing about it is China does export a lot of that. But they import massive amounts of food [still not enough to feed their people. But communism]

2018-06-14 03:08:39 UTC

Much of that food is American soy and rice.

2018-06-14 03:09:19 UTC

There wont be a trade war. The communists dont want it. It will end in starvation and rebellion against the PRC

2018-06-14 10:07:21 UTC

@Trebjonn how "right wing" is the progress party?

They coined the term sneak islamisation is prolly the worst they done and that was 10 year ago

2018-06-14 10:16:19 UTC

what does `sneak islamisation` mean?

2018-06-14 10:18:11 UTC

Its when islam sneaks into society by laws or sociatel norms that are destructive

2018-06-14 10:18:27 UTC

I'm guessing it's Obama going on TV and saying "Islam is the most peaceful religion".

2018-06-14 10:19:01 UTC

2018-06-14 10:29:37 UTC

and those two are "Liberals" and the "Center Right" parties?

<:thronk:441701565607444482>

2018-06-14 14:06:11 UTC

What the fuck. The guy in the TED talk said that fascism is A) believing your country is the best and B) feeling a special obligation to it. He also referred to Israel as a fascist dictatorship on par with Nazi Germany and the USSR.

2018-06-14 14:06:41 UTC

This is like George Soros 2.0

2018-06-14 14:09:05 UTC

He believes Israel is NatSoc?

2018-06-14 14:09:12 UTC

Maybe he's alt-right <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>

2018-06-14 14:11:24 UTC

Israel gets hate from far left and far right.

2018-06-14 14:12:01 UTC

Both of them seem to love Palestine

2018-06-14 14:12:21 UTC

I don't know which group has more cognitive dissonance vis-a-vis Israel though

2018-06-14 14:13:15 UTC

Well lets see, the alt-right probably less honestly because all they want is a final solution, the far left wants to help victims which they would be doing the opposite of.

2018-06-14 14:13:17 UTC

The far left tends to be full of secular Jews whom would be the first up against the firing wall if Palestine were ever to be 'free'

2018-06-14 14:14:11 UTC

The far right constantly seems to argue that Israel is an ethnostate, which is what many of them advocate for, yet they still want Israel destroyed by Palestinians; Palestinians whom would also happily murder *them* too

2018-06-14 14:15:00 UTC

I wonder if black people could be in positions of political power within their white ethnostate <:think_hitlerdidnothingwrong:378717099952177162>

2018-06-14 14:15:09 UTC

Or vote

2018-06-14 14:15:14 UTC

Or serve in the armed forces..

2018-06-14 14:16:03 UTC

Do they actually want Israel destroyed? All I'm aware of is that they want the US to stop supporting them.

2018-06-14 14:16:17 UTC

Depends which ones you talk to

2018-06-14 14:16:26 UTC

They often believe those things are mutually inclusive.

2018-06-14 14:16:27 UTC

I would think the alt-right doesn't sympathize with the left in giving a shit about palestine.

2018-06-14 14:16:36 UTC

you'd think that

2018-06-14 14:16:44 UTC

But plenty of them seem to actually be pro-Palestine

2018-06-14 14:16:46 UTC

They probably hate the sand people and the jews.

2018-06-14 14:16:51 UTC

weird

2018-06-14 14:16:55 UTC

That's what you'd expect

2018-06-14 14:17:20 UTC

so they actually see them as oppressed? I guess I can see them thinking that if they *really* hate the jews.

2018-06-14 14:17:47 UTC

I guess maybe it's not a total surprise; many of these 'alt-right' types were basically painted as hard-left by the Bush-era right because all they could see were people who hated Israel and whom blamed the Jews for everything

2018-06-14 14:19:27 UTC

Or are they just pro-palestine because they know that the palestinians just want to kill the jews so they just want to let them take care of the problem?

2018-06-14 14:20:42 UTC

Anyway it's all weird. The crazy thing is that this Israeli guy straight up gave a ted talk... remotely mind you... weird hologram shit... with some bullshit made up definition of fascism, and he referred to Israel as a fascist state. What the fuck is that about?

2018-06-14 14:20:52 UTC

And people fell for it! The video has tons of likes!

2018-06-15 00:56:23 UTC

Just realized an argument against femenists.

2018-06-15 00:57:45 UTC

Instead of them demonizing men they could be productive and help empower women by ensuring they know their own self worth, proper self defense, and how to have confidence in them selves during conversation, meeting, or arguments.

2018-06-15 00:58:16 UTC

Instead they just push the problem over and blame others instead of gettin off their lazy ass and doing somethin to better themselves.

2018-06-15 01:06:51 UTC

But then they might stop being victims and we can't have that /s

2018-06-15 01:07:05 UTC

A professional activist lives to justify their activism. Don't assume feminists want any problem solved.

2018-06-15 01:07:09 UTC

Otherwise Feminism would become irrelevant.

2018-06-15 01:07:16 UTC

What DKO said.

2018-06-15 01:07:43 UTC

Same with race baiters. They make money off of the notion that white supremacy is a serious issue. Why would they want it to go anywhere?

2018-06-15 01:09:39 UTC

Feminists are against femininity itself. They're against the conceptual woman.

2018-06-15 01:09:54 UTC

And BLM is against racial integration.

2018-06-15 01:10:21 UTC

The ideal woman is a man, in their narrative. A man that's handed all privileges without fighting for any.

2018-06-15 01:14:10 UTC

Remember Cathy Newman, asking "why should women have to compete for positions of power?"

2018-06-15 01:14:48 UTC

The point is to demand something unattainable, unreasonable, so the fight is forever.

2018-06-15 01:15:58 UTC

This is something that Sargon needs to get working on, ASAP.

2018-06-15 01:23:11 UTC

What is the point of no return

2018-06-15 01:24:34 UTC

What is the Rubicon

2018-06-15 01:24:49 UTC

The rubicon is a river in italy

2018-06-15 01:24:54 UTC

Sargon's solution is for Tommy to run for MP, 3 years from now when he becomes eligible.

2018-06-15 01:25:28 UTC

Thats could very well be too long

2018-06-15 01:26:09 UTC

The most important thing about this decision would be it would have to be verified, and obvious. Donโ€™t start a war over something that is alleged

2018-06-15 01:26:15 UTC

And pretty much requires that Tommy stay out of controversy, and generally out of politics, during that time.

2018-06-15 01:26:32 UTC

And that the UK doesn't get much worse in the meantime.

2018-06-15 01:26:35 UTC

(Which probably wonโ€™t happen)

2018-06-15 01:29:30 UTC

Tommy is already marred. And do you know if UK allows those convicted of a crime to hold office?

2018-06-15 01:31:12 UTC

Just can't have beeen in jail for more than 10? months within less than 3 years or running

2018-06-15 01:32:14 UTC

ah

2018-06-15 01:33:08 UTC

Is there a criminal level bar too? I cant see a person convicted in a corruption case or murder or something being able to hold office

2018-06-15 01:33:09 UTC

@Thomas the Sowell Train [USA]
he and a few others, expect people to get way more radical if this happens

2018-06-15 01:33:38 UTC

I don't think so

2018-06-15 01:35:43 UTC

Yo don't think people will become radicalized if Tommy dies in prison?

2018-06-15 01:35:48 UTC

Did you not see the riots that already happened?

2018-06-15 01:36:01 UTC

It is certainly possible

2018-06-15 01:36:20 UTC

The working class is already very angry.

2018-06-15 01:36:26 UTC

Quite understandably.

2018-06-15 01:37:33 UTC

If he is brutally murdered, I can beyond garuntee there will be riots

2018-06-15 01:38:03 UTC

If there are just protests...

2018-06-15 01:38:17 UTC

Then it goes down to how the british police react

2018-06-15 01:42:09 UTC

as i said before, people will get more radical

2018-06-15 01:42:17 UTC

but, i don't think this will be the "breaking point"

2018-06-15 01:42:28 UTC

it will be the beginning of something tho

2018-06-15 01:42:50 UTC

I think the response to the protest will be the breaking point

2018-06-15 01:44:44 UTC

nah

2018-06-15 01:44:48 UTC

there still a lot to happen

2018-06-15 01:44:57 UTC

plus, i don't even think that thing will get that violent

2018-06-15 01:45:09 UTC

You never know

2018-06-15 01:45:22 UTC

Wars have been fought for less

2018-06-15 01:45:32 UTC

(Well, specifically a 1% tax)

2018-06-15 01:46:20 UTC

yeah, i know

2018-06-15 01:46:53 UTC

but, you are talking about a docile population that allowed the government to take a lot of their privacy and to become borderline full authoritarian

2018-06-15 01:47:08 UTC

people won't flip because of the death of one dude

2018-06-15 01:55:24 UTC

Like I said, you never know

2018-06-15 01:58:31 UTC

Sargon looked it up in a stream, needs to be off prison for 2 years to run.

2018-06-15 01:59:05 UTC

So, current sentence + 2 years.

2018-06-15 02:04:56 UTC

Thought it was 5 years

2018-06-15 11:22:38 UTC

Does anybody know anything about this Christopher Wray fella? Our new FBI director?

2018-06-15 11:26:52 UTC

Looks like he spent two years as the AG under Bush, he got "the Edmund J. Randolph Award, the Justice Department's highest award for public service and leadership." not sure what for exactly.

2018-06-15 11:27:01 UTC

after that he went into private practice

2018-06-15 11:27:26 UTC

looks like he's basically just a lawyer

2018-06-15 11:28:27 UTC

"Among other testimony, when asked if he believed that the investigation into Russian election interference and possible links to Trump's campaign is a "witch hunt", he stated that he did not."

2018-06-15 11:28:29 UTC

interesting

2018-06-15 11:32:07 UTC

```On February 13, 2018, in a hearing before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Senator Marco Rubio asked Wray about the risk posed from Chinese students in advanced science and mathematics programs....Wray stated "nontraditional collectors" are "exploiting the very open research and development environment that we have" and consequently he viewed the risk "as not just a whole of government threat but a whole of society threat"....Representatives Chu, Lieu, and Meng released statements criticizing Wray's response as "irresponsible generalizations" implying that all Chinese students and scholars were spies. A coalition of Asian American advocacy groups wrote an open letter to Wray asking for a dialogue "to discuss how well-intentioned public policies might nonetheless lead to troubling issues of potential bias, racial profiling, and wrongful prosecution." In a follow-up interview with NBC, Wray stood by his earlier remarks, elaborating that "To be clear, we do not open investigations based on race, or ethnicity, or national origin. But when we open investigations into economic espionage, time and time again, they keep leading back to China."```
2018-06-15 11:33:28 UTC
All three reps criticizing him were Dems. Looks like he may have been the target of a political correctness smear, purely speculating.
2018-06-15 11:35:50 UTC
If I'm not mistaken it looks like not very many people are liking this guy on either side of the fence.
2018-06-15 11:38:53 UTC
That may just be business as usual for new players on the scene, though. On the right, in response to his news conference, people are saying he's essentially full of bs, a liar. His overall message is one of reforming the FBI based on the lessons to be learned from the recently released Comey Report.
2018-06-15 14:11:47 UTC
@Thomas the Sowell Train [USA] These days trump could nominate the best of the best for a position and both sides would hate it. Because the Dems and the Rhinos want trump to fail. Kinda like their back and forth with tbe korea thing. When it was on they said *He shouldnt do it*, and *hes not experienced enough* or *kim is pulling the strings. Then when trump cancelled it. They criticized him for *not wantjng peace*. When it was back on the first happened again. These days it has to do with who it is or what it is. just is trump involved. These people are gonna damage us beyond repair.
Moral Subjectivists annoy me (or maybe this is Moral Relativists)
2018-06-15 15:50:44 UTC
"We disagree on subjects relating to morality."
2018-06-15 15:51:06 UTC
"Ergo morality is never right nor wrong and is dependent entirely on the opinion of the individual."
2018-06-15 15:51:11 UTC
Wow that's a fucking leap
2018-06-15 15:51:26 UTC
Wonder why we don't attribute that reasoning to politics ๐Ÿค”
2018-06-15 15:52:03 UTC
Probably because it's wrong. If theres such a thing as political ignorance why isn't there such a thing as moral ignorance?
2018-06-15 15:53:13 UTC
If someone politically ignorant is more likely to be wrong on particular subjects then why would that be any different for someone who is morally ignorsnt?
2018-06-15 15:55:20 UTC
Why is political ignorance a thing but moral ignorance not?
2018-06-15 15:55:21 UTC
I think itโ€™s moral relativists
2018-06-15 15:55:45 UTC
And theyโ€™re some of the most ignorant jackasses you can ever meet
2018-06-15 15:55:54 UTC
Oh believe me I know.
2018-06-15 15:56:11 UTC
They are people who would defend their murderers or rapists
2018-06-15 15:56:22 UTC
They make the same arguments as Christians, bizarrely.
2018-06-15 15:56:36 UTC
What do you mean?
2018-06-15 15:56:48 UTC
"You cannot disprove or prove Moral Relativism, ergo Moral Relatvism is true."
2018-06-15 15:56:57 UTC
Ah
2018-06-15 15:57:25 UTC
The default state of things is false
2018-06-15 15:57:33 UTC
Not true
2018-06-15 15:57:37 UTC
They're kinda on the same boat eith Nihilists. At least Nihilists don't ALWAYS act pretentious at least.
2018-06-15 15:58:19 UTC
Ye
2018-06-15 15:58:31 UTC
Still Nihilists are up there imo.
2018-06-15 15:59:20 UTC
They range from "edgy teens except it was never a phase" to the equivilant of carefree potheads wasting away or too in denial of their own position to give it any actual thought.
2018-06-15 15:59:36 UTC
My thing with nihilists is, โ€œwhy donโ€™t you just keel over already?โ€
2018-06-15 16:00:06 UTC
Thereโ€™s no point in anything right?
2018-06-15 16:00:37 UTC
Theres no point to anything, ergo I'm going to pretend theres no point to anything, essentially.
2018-06-15 16:01:13 UTC
So it's either be a Nihilist and not actually be a Nihilist, or be a Nihilist and be a depressed fuck.
2018-06-15 16:01:28 UTC
That's my thing; Nihilism is the ultimate moral convenience.
2018-06-15 16:01:33 UTC
Yep
