Otherwise if you're a local you could certainly find a hotel for like 50rmb

If you're in China , don't bother with cheap hotels. You can get a 5star experience for $100 a night

They are great. Look for foreign owned hotels

If you go to a $25 hotel, you're going to get cumshots and black mold. Try to complain, they will yell at you for critsizing the hotel

So we ordered a package like 5 days ago and it hasn't arrived. It said yesterday that it was "out for delivery" but it never came. In China they put the phone number of the delivery driver on there

So we call and ask nicely about the package

And the guy is like "What?? Huh what do you want?! Hurry up, speak!!"

And there is like a crying baby in the background

And long story short he says "I have hundreds of packages to deliver!! You'll get yours when it comes!! Wtf am I supposed to do!!"

Like screaming and yelling at us

The crying baby in the background means that he was sitting on his couch at home or a friends house

I said we should report his dumbass to his boss, but my fiancee and her mom are like no. If you report people here, they show up at your house and threaten you like "why the fuck did u report me I'll kill u"

Or they constantly call or send goons to stand outside your place

So they have these really intricate reporting systems for all the services because the companies want quality control - but no one does it because they are scared

Or they don't want to take face from them

It's gotten to the point where I don't even tell this shit to my friends and family back home because it sjust so god damn unbelievable

When they ask how's it going I just say good

I don't tell them anything anymore because it's hard to believe and understand a world where this crazy shit happens everyday
