The minimum I've found for hotels that will accept foreigners is like 120rmb

Otherwise if you're a local you could certainly find a hotel for like 50rmb

But my God do they suck

95% of the hotels in China will just turn you down if you're a foreigner. Can't be arsed to register you to police

Also, you need a Chinese phone number to get free WiFi anywhere. Really unfriendly to international tourists
