**_AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH_**
what now
Florida seat flipped
did you vote?
dude what district was it
HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW
Florida-72, House Legislature
I don't think that's near me, lemme check
I don't live in the district
ugh
it's a 5-point shift,
so not _that_ bad, but still
a loss
So was it a swing seat pretty much?
Trump won here with 52% of the vote
sort of
That's swing
rip my optimism
Yeah, state legislature situation's not as good as we need it to be, we're still in the "high and dry" mode down there
my blackpilled-self has returned ๐
Besides, +5 is nowhere close the old shit we got, +20, one of them was +50 right?
there's still elections in OK and GA
so let's see
The national GOP is not paying attention at the local level, that's the thing.
The thing is that the GOP is not in full activist/campaigning mode yet, the left is
We've just got to have to make things right at a national level, and then when state legislatures come up, then you'll see straight down the ticket voting
There's two groups paying attention to these elections, us in this discord, and leftists
i've been doing this wrong,
i should be analyzing the local elections by using a line chart to show the swing,
not averaging all elections together
Makes sense, it creates a trend
right
local elections don't predict federal elections,
but,
they do represent trend
They do predict whether one side is getting more popular or gaining traction
right
Now, if I were in control of some huge network of GOP voters and I could organize people to rush to X district when an election is coming, then we'd be able to do something about it
As it happens, that's not our reality, so we've got to take it as it comes and focus on the bigger picture
We still should have the data on state elections though
sadly we don't seem to have right wing online organization like what you see on r*ddit
Yeah, unfortunately we can't send people to knock doors or poster campaign to every election area coming up
/r/BlueMidterm2018 has enough subscribers to the point where for each special election for state legislatures, there's at least one user saying "I live in this district and blahblahblah"
Hopefully someday we get that kind of traction and are able to maintain it, but as it stands we can't get knocked off our feet by this kind of stuff
for years, the left has been much more active online than the right
Today I feel like we've got some good info, the idea that Trump is at positive favorability here is amazing, Scott gaining ground and Nelson losing it
@Red Storm (in NYC) yeah and they've capitalized by monopolizing it ideologically
that has been changing with the rise of the 'alt-right' and Gen Z and people getting disenfranchised with the left
but it's still the case that the right mostly consists of people who get their news from Fox and talk radio
Wherever the wind blows, I'll go, but as for right now, let's keep the focus on the national elections, and updating the maga db some more.
Not sure how far @AฬฬฬฬฬฬขฬงฬกฬฅฬฬญyeExEyeอจอฌฬผฬฬฒ is with the site, but we'll see what we can do when all of our stuff is built
yeah, we really, really really need to get that Wordpress blog up and running
that's the next big step
I've noticed that people have been bringing up "red storm" in other threads on /pol/
so we've already left our mark on /pol/
remember: even if the /rsg/ threads aren't getting many replies at the moment, people are still looking at them and the red storm oriented posts in /ptg/, which makes the idea of a 'red storm' stew in their minds and also makes them think about the midterms more often
Good won more precincts in the district than any Dem in recent memory
Was this a state thing or comgressinal seat?
Dems are getting good turnout, a lot of it seems to be complete BS tho, like with AL. 92% of presidential turnout, and 100% of Obama levels for blacks.
๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
Want to get a thread going guys?
i can make it
little late it seems
i have a suggestion,
every time there is a special election,
we center a thread around it
post maps, candidate info, instructions how to register, etc.
As in like an "/rsg/ x district election edition" format?
yes
Alright, on the day of the election or days before?
one thread before, and then dedicate the whole of the election day following
Okay, not sure how we can get something major mobilized on that short of notice, you may get one or two people who possibly live in the district, then you've gotta figure out if they're autistic enough to campaign for the candidate the day of
more elections in a week

Can you Republican Brainlets vote. Seriously it's like you want America to become like Brazil 2.0. We already lost 36 seats, it's like you fags want to beat Obama's losing record. Fucking vote. Lazy sack of shits. Your lucky you have that old Boomer Trump that will do six or seven rallies in the summer, for you lazy faggots. These are my nuts, I'm done with you loser faggots. Fuck you
We don't have enough traction at the moment, just calm down
๐ ...k
Alright, now, we should have people campaigning where elections happen, but the thing is that we can't have some people drive all over the country and put posters up everywhere, and we also don't have the machinery enough to get a handful of people from each state and tell them to do that for these state special elections.
We just have to focus on getting all of our stuff built so we can get on that track, and meet the influence of places like that blue midterm subreddit. There's only so much we can do right now and getting hopeless is worth nothing.
I really need you to pull through this, ok?
fine ๐ค
Tomorrow me and @Red Storm (in NYC) will work on this:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfJHNeQ9taxwMJlAEKAhTpcM5SnMT2sQExCu5ikv59OonS8eg/viewform
It's something to bide the time, and it's productive
@AฬฬฬฬฬฬขฬงฬกฬฅฬฬญyeExEyeอจอฌฬผฬฬฒ make sure to give us updates on the blogger, ok
The Red Storm Twitter will get worked on some more to update people on the candidates after it gets unsuspended, and I have no clue what to make of the subreddit to be honest.
That's the agenda to get the ball rolling
@FLanon i had to delay that since the ACA website needed to be fixed, since I finished that this weekend I will get a working site going for Redstorm
@everyone
@AฬฬฬฬฬฬขฬงฬกฬฅฬฬญyeExEyeอจอฌฬผฬฬฒ Alright, I get there's priorities, good to know we're in progress now on the site.
Anyone know when the suspension on the twitter will get lifted?
Perhaps we could make a new account or something when we're prepared with everything else
lol are you talking about Paul Nehlen?
No, the red storm twitter got suspended temporarily
We haven't even tweeted
K
watch this,
**+3** seats
what does each pic represent
MD US House of Representatives
I assume the bottom picture is what it looks like if Maryland was redistricted?
right
Wasn't that redistricting denied?
Ok, so when will the admin start to roll out the massive red storm stuff?
what do you all think it will be?
I think they are ramping up for a massive campiagn
@๐Boo-ton๐ You gotta find a way of going on FOX News or Talk Radio. Telling "Republican Brainlets" to vote on this channel is preaching to the choir. There's like...60 people on this channel, spread out across the country, and we do vote, it's just that we aren't in these special election districts.
I'm guessing you're just venting though ?
Let me reclarify our objectives
1. To compile a folder of memes, infographics, and images pertaining to the midterms for the purpose of disseminating them throughout the Internet.
2. To create a comprehensive, state by state, district by district, reference guide for each race in 2018.
3. To come up with ideas for effective political action that anyone can do over the Internet (we'll let the GOP and other groups handle the boots on the ground work), and execute those ideas with ruthless efficiency.
4. To lay the foundations for an online network of right wing political organization that will later supersede what the left has.
Remember, the left has been much more powerful in terms of political presence on the Internet for years now. That's starting to change because of /pol/ and events like GamerGate, but if we want the right-wing to succeed, we'll have to accelerate that change.
I should rewrite the OP to include those objectives
wtf
R+1 on the Morning Consult generic ballot
also,
Horey shet
What was the Morning Consult ballot two months ago ?
D+3
Was it ever a double digit lead ?
not with this polling agency
This is very good news!
Trump's approval is up and R's are in the **lead** in the generic ballot,
but,
that doesn't matter if Republican brainlet boomers don't go out to vote on special elections
I wonder how much of a difference it would make if Fox News and Rush Limbaugh devoted 3 minutes of time every show to get their listeners out to the polls for special elections
yo
who you
new guy
halo
state?
new jersey
ooh
which district?
unsure .-.
literally know nothing about op redstorm, all i know is that dems are doing something to restrict the first two ammendments, so I want to know what they're doing and what I can do to help protect our liberty
by miterms you mean the midterm elections, right?
do you live up north?
NJ could be potentially important with the Menendez controversy and the such
yeah, Menendez might be vulnerable, so helping the GOP win the NJ senate race should be high on your priority @-MH- ghost
god....imagine how the left would react if they lost a blue state on the day they were supposed to have a 'blue wave'
menendez?
what?
lmao
.-.
your senator?
Bob Menendez is one of the Senators from New Jersey
he's up for reelection this year
ah
@๐Boo-ton๐ no wonder we're losing these special election races
lmao
lmao stfu I'm young my dude, i don't have time to read news
Young?
As in under 18?
yes lmao
if so, focus more on online psy-ops
yeah ik
lol are you some black kid from Newark
no lmao
are you some hipster from Atlantic City?
never een to atlantic city, but most hipsters would be democrats, I would think.
*been
@-MH- ghost yeah, but being a Democrat might be too mainstream for hipsters these days
I wouldn't be surprised if more hipsters go the Gavin McInnes path
Try talking with people about how corrupt Menendez is etc, not much else you can do really
Since you don't really know, Menendez has been through a bunch of corruption trials recently and got aquitted
hmm maybe
ah hecc
Remind the right people to vote, etc
the accusations are always corruption or sexual misconduct
@Ghost there are a lot of Congress districts that will be very close this year in New Jersey. You should find out your district
Republicans are red,
Democrats are blue,
alright, don't know if ill give it out, for security reasons and such
unless your map is from 1992
but yeah, although I can't vote, I'll remind my parents too
when are the midterms though?
Nov
o
we got some time
@Red Storm (in NYC) Which is why,
while we are doing good in the polls for now,
we shouldn't be overly optimistic
a lot can change within 10 months
alright, what specific 1st and 2nd ammendment restrictions are dems who are running for congress implying to put into place?
Yeah reminding them to vote may be all you can do at your age.
true
"Democrats want to raise your taxes"
unfortunately, one of my parents always votes dm
<:GWsetmyxPeepoSad:405337568901726209>
"Democrats favor illegals over you"
well yeah, button
that's pretty much the democratic party in a nutshell
Well, we have our reasons to vote for X Y or Z, but taxes and in the case of menendez, corruption
Are they hardcore dem or swingable dems
and ye, focus on local issues too
my mom is swingable-ish
my dad usually votes republican though
so
that's 1 of each
*for
Okay, don't mention voting in front of your mom, in front of your dad go right ahead and remind him
Unless you're sure she'll vote R this time around
also are the imperators admins/owners and such? (as in the people who're in charge of server partnerships and such)
alright, i'll do that
@Red Storm (in NYC) is the owner of the server, I'm in a mod position
I plan to do that, however, knowing my mom, she'll probably plan to vote anyways
ah alright, i'll dm him about that though
Then try swinging her, taxes are usually what makes moderates swing
na economically she won't budge
also I doubt she'd take advice from her kid lmao
one of the problems with winning over women is they don't like trump's character, generally
true
my mom has quite the grude against donnie, unfortunately
my dad is 50/50 on him
I wonder if my mom would like Trump if she was still alive. She hated him as a celebrity but so did I
Trump is polarizing. Some women hate him, some women love him for the alpha male attitude
I think she would because he cares about normal people. I couldn't stand him as a celebrity but I really like him as President
My ma wasn't into him very much but she came around eventually after enough discussions
Women tend to come around with their husbands, usually are softer on politics, but will still vote if they're asked
that's why single women have such a major liberal tendency
@everyone Styxhexenhammer666 is having a chat with Shiva Ayyadurai
Excelllent
he is a very good candidate
i did a lot of anti-monsanto activism in the day
We should get the reddit decorated http://jdmcreator.byethost5.com/lab/redditgenerator/?i=2
Great idea, you in charge of it?
i have access
ill see about decorating it
maybe make a banner
there must be some good templates
yeah, definitely make it look nice, aesthetic is important
gimme dat tl;dr
In CA the top two people in a primary go to the general
so its possible that the top two could be two Republicans since there's so many Democrats running it would split the vote among them
whoa
In districts that are currently republicans at least
we should keep quiet about this
In this case, we could push the most obscure candidates in the district w/ sockpuppets, that way we can pave the road for this to happen.
Yeah exactly
If the gop approves this monstrosityโ a repudiation of the Presidentโs position on the core issue he was elected onโ the party deserves to die. And rest assured, it will
Who is supporting it in the house?
And the senate
8 GOP Senators
No House GOPers
