local elections don't predict federal elections,
but,
they do represent trend
They do predict whether one side is getting more popular or gaining traction
right
Now, if I were in control of some huge network of GOP voters and I could organize people to rush to X district when an election is coming, then we'd be able to do something about it
As it happens, that's not our reality, so we've got to take it as it comes and focus on the bigger picture
We still should have the data on state elections though
sadly we don't seem to have right wing online organization like what you see on r*ddit
Yeah, unfortunately we can't send people to knock doors or poster campaign to every election area coming up
/r/BlueMidterm2018 has enough subscribers to the point where for each special election for state legislatures, there's at least one user saying "I live in this district and blahblahblah"
Hopefully someday we get that kind of traction and are able to maintain it, but as it stands we can't get knocked off our feet by this kind of stuff
for years, the left has been much more active online than the right
Today I feel like we've got some good info, the idea that Trump is at positive favorability here is amazing, Scott gaining ground and Nelson losing it
@Red Storm (in NYC) yeah and they've capitalized by monopolizing it ideologically
that has been changing with the rise of the 'alt-right' and Gen Z and people getting disenfranchised with the left
but it's still the case that the right mostly consists of people who get their news from Fox and talk radio
Wherever the wind blows, I'll go, but as for right now, let's keep the focus on the national elections, and updating the maga db some more.
Not sure how far @A虁虛虈虉虘挞抬獭胎虧汰yeExEye通同碳虡滩 is with the site, but we'll see what we can do when all of our stuff is built
that's the next big step
I've noticed that people have been bringing up "red storm" in other threads on /pol/
so we've already left our mark on /pol/
remember: even if the /rsg/ threads aren't getting many replies at the moment, people are still looking at them and the red storm oriented posts in /ptg/, which makes the idea of a 'red storm' stew in their minds and also makes them think about the midterms more often
Good won more precincts in the district than any Dem in recent memory
Was this a state thing or comgressinal seat?
Dems are getting good turnout, a lot of it seems to be complete BS tho, like with AL. 92% of presidential turnout, and 100% of Obama levels for blacks.

Want to get a thread going guys?
i can make it
little late it seems
i have a suggestion,
every time there is a special election,
we center a thread around it
post maps, candidate info, instructions how to register, etc.
As in like an "/rsg/ x district election edition" format?
yes
Alright, on the day of the election or days before?
one thread before, and then dedicate the whole of the election day following
