The line of the horizon is the upturned edge he's talking about. Try and draw a side-on view of the earth and the balloon above it. Make the earth as big as you like in relation to the balloon. Then someone must tell me how the camera is seeing the earth that's below it. That camera is supposed to see nothing but space and stars, because the Earth is underneath the basket.

No matter how low or high-up you are, the line of the horizon is always in the same place - in the Kalahari or 121,000 feet up in the air. This is not possible over a ball - only possible on an extended flat plane.

Yeah can't vouch for it, I've never been up there, and if NASA can fake it, then anyone else can fake whatever we see up in space. We won't know 100% until we go there ourselves i suppose, but we can be confident in our reasoning and math.

@TruthCanary well to be honest, I've seen pilots deny the chemtrail conspiracy, guy films the chemicals being released on the plane, then goes to pilot and asks him about chemtrails, pilot knows nothing, and the dash had a chem switch that was in the on state... So there's that bit which makes me doubt, and then you have pilots conflicting their reports on UFOs.. I've come to learn not to trust people at face value.

Not matter how large the ball, the plane is above the ball and the line of the horizon won't be visible.

@Hotwire It actually has a lot of potential to make a huge difference, especially to our current affairs of it turns out to be correct. Lets entertain the idea DeeJay is 100% correct, just entertain it, don't have to accept it... what difference does it make to the guy on the street? For starters, what we think we know, we get from our sources, we trust our sources, so if our sources are wrong, we are wrong, our perception is wrong, and society is structured by these sources, no thing can rise higher than it's source. If the source is a lie, how can we ever attain the truth, without the truth, how can we know the right path, the right solutions etc?

And that's just the tip of the iceberg really, if you go down deeper into that rabbit hole, who knows where you end up, about what the truth actually is. What if you can't solve the current issues with your current understanding? What if the shit we are going through today is a result of this current understanding?

I think people keep on underestimating the curvature and relative sizes, for example, the atmosphere is just a thin little sliver on the surface of the earth

ja, something I've noticed is that whenever I ask questions the explaination is always some advanced engineering or science but I've worked at large companies and it's always a miracle everything is running at all. it's like the gyroscope discussion, the debunkers say that we use hardcore science to correct our tools but in reality we use the simplest stuff that works, which makes intuitive sense, because if it was really that tough society wouldn't operate.
