2018-05-31 11:08:28 UTC

if that is fixed I'd be happy

2018-05-31 11:08:36 UTC

and because those people can't think for themselves, we set up these laws/constitutions, because they need a guiding hand on what is sane to do

intelligent rational people wouldn't need the 1st amendment amongst each other (like we do here) because we understand the importance of exploring any ideas, even once that seem bad/distasteful

But idiots would see it as an attack and try to silence dissent, hence a 1st amendment needs to be there to protect free thinking from those silencing people

2018-05-31 11:08:47 UTC

The only reason why companies and govts listen to idiots is because they now have money that has been gifted to them

2018-05-31 11:09:03 UTC

You want a revolution? Thats how you start one, create a society of havenots large enough.

2018-05-31 11:09:38 UTC

Welfare isnt a perfect solution either, you will always have people who cant contribute

2018-05-31 11:09:49 UTC

Welfare must be abolished

2018-05-31 11:09:51 UTC

complektely

2018-05-31 11:09:52 UTC

Whats fucked is how they are given out

2018-05-31 11:10:05 UTC

welfare should be there for people who CANT work,
Not for people who DONT WANT to work

2018-05-31 11:10:23 UTC

@Dr.Wol Most people don't need the frist amendment because they will just do what they are told. If a society is run by good people the average people will be good, if a socierty has bad leaders the average people will be bad.

2018-05-31 11:10:24 UTC

noone should have a safenet from the govt

2018-05-31 11:10:24 UTC

I think he wants charity instead actually

2018-05-31 11:10:29 UTC

the safenet is ur family and friends

2018-05-31 11:10:34 UTC

That I can kinda understand

2018-05-31 11:11:00 UTC

there is no way of having welfare that will not be completely corruptded

2018-05-31 11:11:12 UTC

is better to get rid of it completely

2018-05-31 11:11:22 UTC

Thing is, you end up throwing the baby with the bathwater that way.

2018-05-31 11:11:31 UTC

@Deleted User yes, but the bad leaders wil influence the sheeple into removing dissent, so that no one is around to tell the world how bad the leaders are, and it will cause stagnation

2018-05-31 11:12:09 UTC

In a functioning society there is work for everybody

2018-05-31 11:12:17 UTC

there is no point in having a safenet

2018-05-31 11:12:23 UTC

safenets make ppl lazy and parasitic

2018-05-31 11:12:23 UTC

Kinda idealist then

2018-05-31 11:12:29 UTC

not at all

2018-05-31 11:12:35 UTC

@Dr.Wol Yes I agree that is what is happening right now.

2018-05-31 11:13:01 UTC

Thing is, there will always be unemployment. In a perfect situation, it will only be comprised of the maimed and injured, or the ones transitioning

2018-05-31 11:13:17 UTC

Not saying they deserve welfare

2018-05-31 11:13:18 UTC

I've never been unemployed

2018-05-31 11:13:26 UTC

when I didnt have a job I worked on my own stuff

2018-05-31 11:13:39 UTC

and I still was generating and acumulating resources

2018-05-31 11:13:41 UTC

i'll side with Ivanfr on this one though

The main issue for unemployment in America right now is that theres more workers than there are jobs

2018-05-31 11:14:14 UTC

Also alot of jobs moved to thrid world countires.

2018-05-31 11:14:18 UTC

exactly

2018-05-31 11:14:18 UTC

Eh I was arguing definitions. Theres always the sick, the pregnant, and the transitioners.

2018-05-31 11:14:27 UTC

ppl just want to be told what to do and behave like robots

2018-05-31 11:14:29 UTC

thats not necessarily true

2018-05-31 11:14:35 UTC

but in reality there is always things to do

2018-05-31 11:14:47 UTC

there are a lot of jobs that are open but not enough qualitied people to fill them

2018-05-31 11:15:01 UTC

The sick the pregnant etc will have a family and friends that care for them

2018-05-31 11:15:24 UTC

if the govt keeps care of u then there is no incentive in forming relationships with ppl

2018-05-31 11:15:34 UTC

Like I said, no argument ther

2018-05-31 11:15:48 UTC

there are lots of people who have no college degrees nor previous experience in the relevant field, but have no money to get a college degree nor people willing to hire them so they can get experience

2018-05-31 11:15:50 UTC

I am only saying that 0% unemployment is not possible

2018-05-31 11:16:07 UTC

depends what u define as unemployment

2018-05-31 11:16:18 UTC

sitting in the sofa is unemployment

2018-05-31 11:16:33 UTC

cutting wood and planting food is not

2018-05-31 11:16:37 UTC

even if u are not earning money

2018-05-31 11:16:38 UTC

Actually, more like getting wages

2018-05-31 11:16:50 UTC

Like say, unpaid leave

2018-05-31 11:16:59 UTC

THats technically employed still

2018-05-31 11:17:00 UTC

there is no real good way to fix that problem, but if a coal miners job goes away, he is pretty much SOL unless he can find a way to learn a relevant skill for the markets today, which may be difficult if they are in their 50s

2018-05-31 11:17:16 UTC

@GingaBomber Full employment is possible and has been achived by many societies like national socialist Germany.

2018-05-31 11:17:16 UTC

Theres the injured as well, some jobs are hazardous

2018-05-31 11:17:32 UTC

Those were different times though

2018-05-31 11:17:33 UTC

Killing the ones who cant work dont count

2018-05-31 11:17:51 UTC

well full employment is possible if you just kill people who don't fit in

2018-05-31 11:18:14 UTC

Its a solution all right, but I wont appreciate getting firing squad for loosing a hand

2018-05-31 11:18:16 UTC

unemployed ppl just are not willing to work for cheap

2018-05-31 11:18:24 UTC

And i kind of agree grenade,

But my argument was for the fact that theres people who can't get "any" job due to the lowest paid ones being overly filled
You are absolutely right theres plenty of Higher up jobs that need people

2018-05-31 11:18:49 UTC

u can go to a bar right now and say I will wash ur dishes for 1 dollar

2018-05-31 11:18:50 UTC

3rd world people taking jobs. And causing the expected pay to go down

2018-05-31 11:19:14 UTC

So pride is the issue here I think you are gtting at

2018-05-31 11:19:29 UTC

No respect for that profession

2018-05-31 11:19:56 UTC

Back in Nazi times there was factory work that needed to be done, so any menial labor person could find work

The issue with modern times is that those jobs are nullified due to 1 robot being able to outwork 10 people and run 24/7 essentially at less pay

2018-05-31 11:20:20 UTC

And ofc outsourcing to 3rd world countries

2018-05-31 11:20:36 UTC

AND importing illegals etc and other low-skilled workers who work for lower wages

2018-05-31 11:20:49 UTC

And well, the amount of intelligence required for the easier jobs has increased the threshold

2018-05-31 11:20:52 UTC

thus the bottom of the pyramid gets ballooned up

2018-05-31 11:20:56 UTC

Ask any homeless person if they will do X task for u for cheap $, they will say no

2018-05-31 11:21:15 UTC

"hey guys, i have an idea. Lets solve homelessness by throwing all the homeless in jail. Then they are not homeless! Sure, the incarcerated popular will increase but thats not where we are looking"

2018-05-31 11:21:17 UTC

Then you gotta pay them more than how much they get bgging

2018-05-31 11:21:31 UTC

well thats not unemployment then

2018-05-31 11:21:33 UTC

its lazyness

2018-05-31 11:21:37 UTC

and being a parasite

2018-05-31 11:21:43 UTC

Or smart really

2018-05-31 11:21:45 UTC

thats actually an issue in Netherlands here
welfare pays as much as minimum wage

So theres people actively refusing to work because they get paid the same for doing nothing
And they can then work illegally and get 2 paychecks basically

2018-05-31 11:21:45 UTC

thats why I dont give money to homeless ppl

2018-05-31 11:22:44 UTC

Saying there is no use for a % of humans in a society is just untrue

2018-05-31 11:22:55 UTC

they just dont want to work

2018-05-31 11:23:15 UTC

if u take welfare away they will work

2018-05-31 11:23:46 UTC

ask any person that has a company, big or small, they complain they cant find competent ppl

2018-05-31 11:24:10 UTC

I can understand the sentiment

2018-05-31 11:24:16 UTC

and no grenade, we should solve homeless people, like that leader in i believe the philipines, wants to solve the drug addiction problem,
have police shoot and kill addicted people ๐Ÿ˜›

2018-05-31 11:24:19 UTC

they have business models that can work with more ppl but there is not enought ppl that are willing to work

2018-05-31 11:24:41 UTC

Well its a matter of charity outweighing the benefits of hard work

2018-05-31 11:25:09 UTC

Like that issue with welfare in the netherlands like jay said

2018-05-31 11:25:14 UTC

@Deleted User do you have any proof anything in nazi germany was sustainable? I mean, he was in power for like about 20 years, and more than half of that was in war either rapidly expanding, consuming the resources of near by countries, or losing.

2018-05-31 11:25:32 UTC

I mean, rome was powerful, but it was also built on conquest

2018-05-31 11:25:44 UTC

They were running out of land to give their auxillaries

2018-05-31 11:26:05 UTC

Powerful it was, but I dont think that was sustainable

2018-05-31 11:26:32 UTC

The german model was sustained through imperialism, much like America after the great depression,

Have everyone build arms, tanks/guns/ammo etc

And then conquer other countries, and pay for all the wages/expenses by plundering the wealth of the nations you conquer

2018-05-31 11:26:49 UTC

Oh thats what its called

2018-05-31 11:26:53 UTC

@Dr.Wol but there is totally nothing wrong with the ability to call your neighbor a drug dealer to get him thrown out of helicopter so you can take his stuff. /s

2018-05-31 11:27:02 UTC

I know grenade, it was a joke ๐Ÿ˜›

2018-05-31 11:27:18 UTC

its absolute insanity how that is a thing in the philipines

2018-05-31 11:27:34 UTC

Actually is that even true? have friends in the phillipines and they never hear about it, then again, govr owned papers.

2018-05-31 11:27:51 UTC

But youd think they would proudly put it in their papers if the people really loved that solution

2018-05-31 11:28:14 UTC

I'm not sure if it was the Philipines ๐Ÿ˜ฆ but it was a thing in one of those countries

2018-05-31 11:28:23 UTC

No I am sure it was a philly thing

2018-05-31 11:28:25 UTC

i believe it was the Philipines, but i could be waaay off ๐Ÿ˜›
