there is no real good way to fix that problem, but if a coal miners job goes away, he is pretty much SOL unless he can find a way to learn a relevant skill for the markets today, which may be difficult if they are in their 50s

You are absolutely right theres plenty of Higher up jobs that need people

u can go to a bar right now and say I will wash ur dishes for 1 dollar

3rd world people taking jobs. And causing the expected pay to go down

Back in Nazi times there was factory work that needed to be done, so any menial labor person could find work

The issue with modern times is that those jobs are nullified due to 1 robot being able to outwork 10 people and run 24/7 essentially at less pay

And ofc outsourcing to 3rd world countries

AND importing illegals etc and other low-skilled workers who work for lower wages

And well, the amount of intelligence required for the easier jobs has increased the threshold

thus the bottom of the pyramid gets ballooned up

Ask any homeless person if they will do X task for u for cheap $, they will say no

"hey guys, i have an idea. Lets solve homelessness by throwing all the homeless in jail. Then they are not homeless! Sure, the incarcerated popular will increase but thats not where we are looking"

Then you gotta pay them more than how much they get bgging

welfare pays as much as minimum wage

So theres people actively refusing to work because they get paid the same for doing nothing
And they can then work illegally and get 2 paychecks basically

thats why I dont give money to homeless ppl

Saying there is no use for a % of humans in a society is just untrue

they just dont want to work

if u take welfare away they will work

ask any person that has a company, big or small, they complain they cant find competent ppl

and no grenade, we should solve homeless people, like that leader in i believe the philipines, wants to solve the drug addiction problem,
have police shoot and kill addicted people 😛

they have business models that can work with more ppl but there is not enought ppl that are willing to work
