but in reality there is always things to do

there are a lot of jobs that are open but not enough qualitied people to fill them

if the govt keeps care of u then there is no incentive in forming relationships with ppl

there are lots of people who have no college degrees nor previous experience in the relevant field, but have no money to get a college degree nor people willing to hire them so they can get experience

Back in Nazi times there was factory work that needed to be done, so any menial labor person could find work

The issue with modern times is that those jobs are nullified due to 1 robot being able to outwork 10 people and run 24/7 essentially at less pay

And ofc outsourcing to 3rd world countries

AND importing illegals etc and other low-skilled workers who work for lower wages

And well, the amount of intelligence required for the easier jobs has increased the threshold

thus the bottom of the pyramid gets ballooned up

Ask any homeless person if they will do X task for u for cheap $, they will say no

"hey guys, i have an idea. Lets solve homelessness by throwing all the homeless in jail. Then they are not homeless! Sure, the incarcerated popular will increase but thats not where we are looking"
