But you lie on tax sheets?
Just be like an ice bear riding a car with a panda.
That's the best advice I can give you.
That's the best advice anyone can give you.
And I still don't undrestand why voter ID laws are racist.
I have had a photo ID since I was 12, when I first mad e alibrary pass
why is that so hard?
Are we really so patronizing towards black people that we think an adult cannot do what a 12 year old can?
Apparently the courts are currently ruling that anything that could potentially impede voting is an obstruction of voting rights.
I mean, the idea behind voter ID laws was more about illegal immigrants
Not really black people
Well, unequal access to transportation can impede voting.
Those arguments fail in a million ways.
That's why the Democrats bus everybody.
Equality!
lol
You can't do anything really as an adult without some sort of ID. Bank accounts, a job, renting an apartment/buying a house, taking out loans, etc. It's pretty difficult to function on a basic level without one.
Yeah and there si this Ami Horrowitz Video, where he asks black people about ID. and the DMV.
and they all look at him funny, like "are you an idiot?" way...
This all just boils down to these poor people just acting stupid
Why must the id not be allowed if the only arguements against it have a slippery slope
Because without Voter ID Laws that are checked and cross referenced with other organs of Gouvernment, you can't cheat and let illegals vote
because that would not be possible as it would have been prevented by the Citizen Register thingy...
We already have a register
Social Security?
No, the voter registry. You have to register to vote.
When you show up there is a list of registered voters and you sign in by your name.
I've only voted like 3 times and in all three times they ask for ID, drivers license or social security.
And before then I had to register. So why the talk about voter ID?
Is there any inherent security that comes with that?
didn't think of that that is a good talking point
What I'm saying is that if there are already people who can fake IDs then there are people who can fake voter id
That's why IDs need better security measures implemented
The problem with voter registration is a lot of places simply don't check up on it
and if you can't verify the person who is claiming to be someone, then it is easy to have impersonators
I remember before they implemented voter ID in my state, you could literally walk into the place and just write your name on a piece of paper and vote
I could go in and vote under my neighbor's name if I wanted and nobody could say anything about it
I could go from polling center to polling center and have no hindrance on claiming to be someone from each place if I wanted to
now that we have voter ID, I have to show them identification or I can't vote
Oh now THATS a problem.
I don't see why not having verification is so bad. Atleast in the level we have in Florida
There are a lot of incompetent people running polling centers. Anything that will force them to actually verify that an election is being performed legitimately I will fullheartedly support.
In Florida they just ask for your id. They scan it, you sign something on thier touch screen and they ask you to wait for them to print your ballot. They print it you show them your id again and that's it. It's a simple process that I think should be more widespread
That's exactly how they do it here in MS. It's very straightforward and not any more invasive than buying a beer
Are there any places in particular that have these loopholes?
You should see the dim bulbs running the Board of Elections where I live. Lucas Co, Ohio.
No I mean we do it the same here as you do in FL
we don't have the security problems we had back before the voter ID law
I understand, what I ask is what kinds of places have you seen this incompetence mentioned before
everywhere. I lived in a different voting district than my friends and they all said the same things I saw
No one actually acknowledges most incompetence. In fact, it's often intentionally ignored and denied.
I asked them if they had anyone verifying the names and they all said no
Particularly incompetence in low-level local government departments and agencies.
but once the voter ID law was passed, you can't get a ballot until you show your ID
and it's scanned
Of course not. They probably looked at you like your head was tacked on sideways when you asked it.
We have a form of Voter ID in Ohio, but it isn't consistently enforced across all counties statewide,
That kind of incompetence worry's me. These kinds of faults should be corrected. What would be the best way to correct this?
Really the only way to correct it is to report it
but you know how that goes
To who?
You should just thank whatever God you believe in that you don't have a Jon Stainbrook co-opting and infecting your county GOP with leftist anarchists and self-described communists. He's the guy who fucked out Board of elections to the point of total non-functionality.
I have never done it so I'm not sure who to report it to
I know there is a voter's rights violations complaint site
The State ended up suing his pants off and he drained the County GOP coffers trying to pay for a defense that was destined to fail from the outset.
but nothing about operational incompetence
for MS this may be the form https://www.sos.ms.gov/Elections-Voting/Documents/HAVAComplaintForm.pdf
seems old though
One should always keep in mind one incontrovertible fact. Everybody lies. Just because someone "says" they're a Republican or a conservative doesn't mean they're not lying through their teeth, hoping to take advantage of natural American naivete to pull of a malevolent agenda and fuck shit up.
Well shit I expected more reinforce. They kinda look like those surveys that ask how business is
Yeah it's really difficult to trust anything politicians say, especially when you can FEEL the pandering
We've been trying to get the Stainbrook infestation out of our GOP since he literally used cops to steal the Chairmanship in 2009.
I'm sure there are better resources that a courthouse could refer you to
I just didn't see any through a quick google search
usually if I have a question like that, the courthouse knows who to call
But the vast majority of ward boss seats are filled with Stainbrook lackeys who are really just drunken, drug-dealing anarchists and SJW's who only show up to vote Stainbrook back in. IT's ensured that Lucas County has not run one single conservative for any local office whatsoever in almost a decade.
MS has had the same politicians in power for forever, even though pretty much everyone hates them lol
At least we can tell that MS HAVAC complaint form was made *after* the year 2000.
LOL
Who knows maybe you should run
But there is not anywhere near sufficient space to write down any kind of detailed information. Voter fraud is such a complex prosecutorial undertaking that it's critically important to get the absolute smallest details possible to carry out a successful prosecution. But then there's also the risk of your County having a leftist DA who abuses their prosecutorial discretion and simply declines the case altogether no matter *how* much material evidence you or how detailed the depositions are.
I have thought about it, but I'm moving to FL next year lol
Smart move. Alabama is also a nice state. Home prices in Mobile are attractive right now.
I'm originally from the deep south (Weakley County, TN,
I'm gonna be doing cybersecurity and FL has really good opportunities in that field
But now I live in the Rust Belt.
I've heard you guys are having a bit of democratic flight
With the way business is changing, it almost doesn't matter *where* you live if you work in a cyber-related field. I live in Northwest Ohio, but I'm technically employed in McLean, VA.
'bout time too.
When someone in Ohio *says* they're a "Democrat," nine times out of ten what they *mean* is "I'm a dyed in the wool Socialist." (That's a direct quote from our current "Democratic" Mayor.
I want to try to work with the DOD and I've heard that there is a firm in Pensacola that monitors all the internet traffic in and out of the country. Wanna try there
One of many.
My restrictions for myself is that I don't want to go any further north than NC and no farther west than TX
at least for now
gotta stay somewhat in my comfort zone lol
I work for a private security firm that specializes in counter extremism and counter terrorism and we have DOD, Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement Clients from all 50 states as well as private sector critical infrastructure.
nice. I don't necessarily want to be tied to a govt job, but I definitely want to work on contracts with them
None of our staff even lives in McLean. Or even the same city as another employee. We're a totally decentralized corporation.
