I don't know if that's why Bright is getting bad reviews (I haven't seen it myself) but blurbs I read don't seem to indicate anything of the sort unlike, say, that Louis CK film that's been indefinitely shelved where every review was about what a pervy scum Louis CK supposedly is and less about the actual content of the film
