Totally agree on the deletion of social media. Also the deleting of old accounts, hadn't thought about that myself. I usually delete old stuff though anyway just out of habit.

The only thing I disagree on is that we just assume services will be hacked. I mean sure, we should assume that they might and could be ultimately, but I think their is an array of alternative technology and services which could aid people in making it less likely for this to occur, or for them to have any reason to want to target you to begin with. Things like Graphene OS for mobile, VPNs, Tor, Tails, Qubes, online phone services like Jmp.chat , as well as a whole host of privacy minded alternative apps for your everyday life. Plus the more people who use them adopt them, the less power google has generally.

Anyways- would it be possible for you guys to attend? You both were recommended for having skills in this area so I'd really appreciate it. Would November 24 at 8pm work?

Its OK, no one showed up yet lol. I admit, seems most people aren't ready yet to begin thinking about the day when more advanced computer knowledge is necessary to continue dissident communication and other applications of tech opsec. Encryption is still effective and government mandatory backdoors to encrypted platforms are still not a thing but they want to do this effectively. We can't all just "leave or phones at home" either way though, I personally was told you guys know alot about this stuff yourselves, would love a time to chat on mumble with you

Also I realized on this last trip I can't afford the gas money to cover all of this distance. Its just too much money, including the mileage it adds to my car every time. I'm going to have to start asking guys along the way for gas money. I hate t

No worries. They never offered but at the same time I figured I'd be traveling the same distance anyway by myself. But recently I've been thinking about it and its kind of like, if we can't "car hop" in a chain, and one person has to go the whole way with people without cars, its only reasonable everyone contribute as a passenger. You don't usually ask for gas money and I also haven't thought to offer to pay for gas, so I completely understand them not thinking of it.

Probably just some big suitcases. You'll have an air mattress, and a closet to hang clothes. We will be so busy training and out job hunting you won't have time for much else. A laundry basket would also be good to bring.

As far as shield team goes:
I was told yesterday by Vincent TX to study Shield/Drill practices for next event. I asked him where I could access this, he said our local drill instructor, who he said would be our ND. I asked Ryan Ohio, he no longer has access to this, he said to ask Thomas. I asked Thomas, he said those practices/tutorials are not readily available to people broadly speaking.

That is all to say- we need a drill instructor for our cluster. I can't learn our particular drill and shield team policies without it.

I understand why they keep that info need-to-know, but if we don't have a drill instructor then guys like me can't learn shield team policy and strategy. I'm glad I was there when that leftist went after Benjamin (cop didn't do anything until I caught up to Ben to block the protestor) but I want to be even better prepared next time
