i dont
🤔
and it would be impossible for me to read decades worth of comics
That's fair, yeah. I'll ask around, I got some buddies who're pretty big into that
If that fails I'm in a few D&D servers, someone's bound to know
I don't really like superhero plotlines
🤔 Wikipedia? 🤔
Did captain marvel enter the culture war?
If I want to know anything about comics and SJW crap I go to /co/.
Probably a good idea
I'd ask around but it's 5:37 here
captain marvel is the culutre war
brie larson is an sjw
so i see ppl talking about how they retconned Marvel specifically with a movie in mind so the MCU can have a female lead
and they are making her the most powerful MCU character
🤔
which is crazy considering Thor is stronger than anyone
Aquaman's stronger, Tim. Thor can totally drown
>literally a god
>Weaker than a human wamen
🤔🤔🤔
All jokes aside I'm putting the feelers out
Will they ever figure out forced representation doesn't work? It's not that hard to make a female/LGBT/etc. character without cramming it down your throat
Representation works like mad for Marvel. Black Panther made bank.
It's all intersectionality from here on out.
Doctor strange movie was cool i liked it
Studio ghibli knew how to write strong female lead characters.
Black muslim trans spiderperson in a wheelchair.
It's called differently abled you bigot.
What sorta thing are you looking for specifically Tim? A history of the character?
>diversity
>90% black
Or like, an overview of the cultural implications of the character, the various versions of Captain Marvel, you feel me
I'd ping him if you're trying to make sure he sees it
Oh, gotcha
>Linus Tech Tips shoplifts pads for clickbait
>Calls them tampons
🅱️oi
@Timcast A friend recommended the Comicstorian channel for giving good overviews of characters' histories/backstories. There's a few vids about Captain Marvel on YouTube. Most of my friends say they don't know themselves, possibly got someone who knows someone
What sorta knowledge specifically though? Are we talking just character history or further detail about cultural implications etc?
2x speed is super useful for research
I just watched an entire IT course again
Oh I thought 2x speed removed sound, did they remove that?
that was a bug like 4 years ago
