The law practice is especially infiltrated.
things like that are why I don't have a real job, because I would go to that and ask "Do I get special counsel if I identify as Trans-black."
and get fired
That's why you simply identify as trans-black.
You don't ask.
I have to work with the diversity director occasionally to set up some of her meetings
She asked me a few times to participate in her meetings but i flat out do not attend
Im like fuck that if i attended that shit they’d fire my ass with all the truth 💣 id drop on them
If they do, just claim to be the opposite gender and sue the shit out of them
@Rabbi Shekels I've worked in many corporate environments.
It's always been that way that the regular engineers and full timers would kind of keep away from HR.
@Dan V im good though im half spik and craka so no one says shit to me
Usually, they were kept separately to begin with.
But, it has really taken on a new level recently.
It had always been kind of a running gag for us to say something kind of offensive and then snicker: "Good thing HR isn't here."
This is the first company/law firm ive ever worked at that had a (((diversity))) director shes black also
Or play the game: How many offensive, illegal questions can we ask in one interview?
Omg HR is the worst
Yes.
They'd be the joke around the office. But, at least they were not threatening, or used to be.
They always had the office across the street. You didn't usually have to worry about them, as long as you didn't actually do something illegal or harmful.
Now they are kind of in your face all the time.
You could also see other indicators rise, like the number of mandatory HR trainings.
There was maybe one per year, then we eventually had 4 or so, for each quarter I think.
I don't quite remember.
they had this up on November 2017
They would track the completion of every one, because you had to log onto a portal to view those trainings.
So they split the womens bathroom in half for that
Then a few weeks later they took it down lel
That's so idiotic. One of my co-workers was fired because he accidentally walked into the women's rest room once.
Nothing happened, he just walked right out after he realized his mistake.
Thats fucked up lmao
There was one woman in there who then reported him to HR.
And, he even had a good reason for his mistake:
On all floors, the women's rest room was usually to the left. On the floor it was to the right.
As far as i know we dont have any trans people working in the nyc office we do have gay people working here
So, he was chatting with someone on the cell phone and was just on autopilot.
At least one gay guy lawyer works here and hes chill
He was an engineer, too, and we paid good money to hire him.
So they canned him for that shit ? @Undead Mockingbird
And now it's all bullshit apparently anyway, because everyone can just use whatever restroom they please!
