And not in an "oh that's neat" kinda way, but in a "that can't possibly be true" kinda way

You learn very quickly what a teacher's job actually is, and learn to appreciate the good ones

A teacher's job is to instruct students and try to help if they notice anything out of the ordinary

Most of the time they're overworked and underpaid

a teacher's job is to follow the curriculum

but there are some teachers who will go above and beyond that

from my experience most of my teachers weren't underpaid

but i have a very low opinion of our public school system
