Tim didn't say conservative, he said strong/safe/incumbent

Which is republicans right now

2018-10-24 15:19:26 UTC

@wacka That's because media was filled with dying Syrian children. Was a hearts and minds piece so there was pushback on it

2018-10-24 15:19:37 UTC

and violence in general makes people vote conservative

2018-10-24 15:19:50 UTC

welp that shut me up 😛

2018-10-24 15:20:09 UTC

i wish we could live in a world where it was safe to have lax airport security again

2018-10-24 15:20:10 UTC

people tend not to care who is doing it

2018-10-24 15:20:13 UTC

Yeah, because the riots are the left's fault.

2018-10-24 15:20:15 UTC

they just want the tough guy to protect them

2018-10-24 15:20:17 UTC

its like they threw martin luther kings philosphy in the trash

2018-10-24 15:20:17 UTC

bullshit

2018-10-24 15:20:17 UTC

dems are weak

2018-10-24 15:20:21 UTC

bullshit

2018-10-24 15:20:23 UTC

depends.. if there is violence against minorities that might push people liberal?

2018-10-24 15:20:26 UTC

It’s not illegal to spend other people’s money on v but

2018-10-24 15:20:27 UTC

but nope gotta take off my shoes because someone tried sneaking a bomb in them

2018-10-24 15:20:31 UTC

you're completely off the mark here tim

2018-10-24 15:20:31 UTC

dont let my citations get in the way then

2018-10-24 15:20:32 UTC

dems are very weak

2018-10-24 15:20:54 UTC

you're leaving out the fact that riots are almost always caused by the left

2018-10-24 15:20:59 UTC

name a right wing riot

2018-10-24 15:21:03 UTC

i remember ferguson

2018-10-24 15:21:08 UTC

that wasn't right

2018-10-24 15:21:11 UTC

although Id say GOP is probably more liberal at this point....

2018-10-24 15:21:21 UTC

counter protestors almost always turn it into a riot

2018-10-24 15:21:40 UTC

@Timcast If anything, I think these things show that when x group is causing violence to occur, people align the y group who condemns x group. If conservative violence, riots and terrorism were a thing I doubt that people would become conservative because of it

2018-10-24 15:21:49 UTC

^

2018-10-24 15:22:02 UTC

it all depends on who Y is

2018-10-24 15:22:06 UTC

and now the dems are going to condemn right wing terrorism

2018-10-24 15:22:11 UTC

so if unlikely but if dems call for civility

2018-10-24 15:22:17 UTC

well then they may be Y

2018-10-24 15:23:20 UTC

@PerformedShelf Not 'conservative' as in voting Tory and Republican, it's a state of mind. You circle the wagons. It's a conservative mentality.

2018-10-24 15:23:29 UTC

will this be the topic of todays vid tim?

2018-10-24 15:23:34 UTC

before the day is out the entire media will be in lockstep with the democrat line, which will be that republicans are promoting violence

2018-10-24 15:23:37 UTC

Anxiety is an emotion that waxes and wanes in all of us, and as it swings up or down our political views can shift in its wake. When people feel safe and secure, they become more liberal; when they feel threatened, they become more conservative.

2018-10-24 15:23:52 UTC
2018-10-24 15:24:05 UTC

I mean that fits with the idea that people base their political beliefs on what they consider most important at that time
