The far-left has been doing this for decades on all manner of issues, and its time to ramp up the pressure from the right, using the same tactic. in my opinion
And of course only settle in the middle, if that settling actually causes the left to lose ground. Otherwise do not settle

Welcome to Seattle in 2 weeks.
Yet somehow, only one case in Vegas still
with testing in the US set to ramp up next week, we're going to see dramatic increases in confirmed cases. the cases are already here, it's just now we're going to have confirmation. the stock market and 'just the flu' normies will probably go completely apeshit.
Yeah, case count will skyrocket as we catch up with the number of infections in the wild. I think we should set up drive through testing facilities like South Korea and a few other countries have done. If you have flu symptoms just drive through and they will collect your contact info and take a swab then get back to you within a day.
Better than doing it at walk in clinics.
It's probably already too late for healthcare workers to do contact tracing manually for all the new cases discovered so positive cases will have to notify friends, family, and coworkers to get tested and minimize contact until results are in.
Yeah that would be better than walk-in clinics, but I don't think it'll be as effective as it is in South Korea. Americans aren't as considerate and conscientious as Koreans. They wear masks when they have a cold or flu as a basic practice.
There are just way too many fucking jackasses in the US.
Yeah, they have successfully mobilized the citizenry to be invested in taking care of coronavirus.
We are kinda too atomized and "fuck everyone else, I'll take care of myself" here to really get that working I think.
helps when you have a monoculture and not a melting pot
Entitled boomers and Karens are not going to stay quarantined.
I'm sure we will see it, of course we need enough test kits to actually start doing that and I'm pretty sure we don't have enough to test that thoroughly yet.
I believe I heard South Korea has tested something like 120k people.
we'll see if we get those 4 million kits by the end of the week per CDC/Trump
I think the best case scenario is that we keep isolating severe cases and leave normal cases alone. With luck it can split into a second strain that proliferates because the lesser severity allows it to be ignored. Then - and again with luck - if you get that one you gain some immunity to the big one.
If it never splits like that we're sort of just looking at a lifespan capped at 70-80 until there's a vaccine.
Well we need the publics help with self isolation at this point but nobody seems to want to change they way they travel and act other than panic buying toilet paper.
<:hypers:654439239055835158> I hope smallpox comes back
If we can't even handle a bad flu that would practically be the end of us all.
maybe this is for the better - greta <:smugon:512048583806025739>
cute.
@AdamBv1 I've been noticing people changing behavior here in the US, at least in my hospital. First thing that changed was people started stealing our boxes of masks to the point that we need to keep them hidden now. Second change was sick people asking for masks set their used tissues down on the desk while putting them on. Basically we're fucked
No one's fucked
Except those coming too late to the store because it has been raided by all the "chads" going nuts with their toilet roll stock piling
And when I say "chad" I mean "fucking idiot"
Well they need to make sure they have enough bottled water, because
History repeating itself I see
