I know they will try but this seems like a hard crisis for globalists to exploit. It shows the issues with outside supply lines and China being the worlds manufacturer along with the potential downsides to effortless global travel. The answer to all the exposed problems seem like increased self sufficiency and maybe even stronger borders.
Honestly I think that had Trump handled this reasonably well any economic impact could be overlooked, but at this point he is NOT handling it well and trying to blow the whole thing off. Meanwhile WA is going to look like Italy does now in 2 weeks and South Korea in 3.
WA is so fucking retarded right now as of yesterday they have not tested all the residents or employees of that extended care facility where this broke out an entire week ago.
CDC rolled back the slow roll testing early this week and anyone can be tested on any doctors orders but doctors still don't seem to be ordering it for some reason.
Test kits have only within the last day or two started arriving but you could always send samples off to the CDC for testing even if it takes a couple days.
Not the end of the world for sure but it is doing a good job exposing how poorly prepared the world is for this even though we have basically always known this or something worse could happen.

That's from 2018 and a FORMER supreme court justice saying that. And he's not wrong, if they want to implement that sort of gun control they want they should repeal or modify the 2nd amendment to be compatible with it instead of just pretending they can do it.
Well free speech existing legally is still important, if we go from social suppression to the government cracking down criminally and otherwise that would be a terrible thing. Socially we at least work on fighting back on the forces that want to suppress it. Uphill battle yes but all is not as lost as when it legally does not exist.
Yeah, case count will skyrocket as we catch up with the number of infections in the wild. I think we should set up drive through testing facilities like South Korea and a few other countries have done. If you have flu symptoms just drive through and they will collect your contact info and take a swab then get back to you within a day.
It's probably already too late for healthcare workers to do contact tracing manually for all the new cases discovered so positive cases will have to notify friends, family, and coworkers to get tested and minimize contact until results are in.
I'm sure we will see it, of course we need enough test kits to actually start doing that and I'm pretty sure we don't have enough to test that thoroughly yet.
Well we need the publics help with self isolation at this point but nobody seems to want to change they way they travel and act other than panic buying toilet paper.
@Captain Conundrum Yeah, I have seen the mask stealing thing as well. I was in a hospital in Wyoming of all places on Friday and they said they have seen people walking in and taking handfuls of masks out of the dispensers and were starting to keep them behind the reception counter because of it.

They don't want to call it a pandemic because that would trigger the pandemic bonds being use and those were basically designed to help poor Africa. Since the coronavirus hasn't gotten a good foothold in Africa they don't want to call it a pandemic.
I think I posted it last night but apparently that who news about the CDC allowing wide testing on any doctors orders was half fake news. Anyone who wants to can order a test, assuming they have kits on hand. CDC is only processing tests for places with no kits based on travel history still.
The problems with the archive.vn links is they are a URL shortener as well so you can't even figure out the original link to try and visit directly or in another archive.
Tweaked things a few weeks ago for working ESNI support but only had archive link issues the last 2-3 days so it worked but archive must have borked something.
After looking into this a bit more it's not a browser issue as multiple browsers are doing this and it's not consistent. Tried over mobile data as well as the home and get issues there too. It seems to be a DNS problem from the archive.today side.
