@Raptorian Their connection is just super slow
They haven't even unlocked the "discover fire" perk
` Their language is markedly different from other languages on the Andamans, which suggests that they have remained uncontacted for thousands of years.`
Sounds like they're doing it on purpose
Goddamn shut-ins <:smugon:512048583806025739>
Ok, so that archipelago itself is very remote and mostly populated by the natives, who themselves seem to be remnants of some very early migration out of Africa. Just to give you an idea of how god-forsaken that place is. The Bri'ish even once built a prison there with the express purpose of exiling political prisoners, the place being the end of the world, essentially.
*Somehow* its capital is a fucking smart city wit IoT everywhere.
Well..
Imagine if insects spread the plague..
They don't
but that would be spooky
Coronavirus causes pandemic- women most affected
In Plague Inc. there's an option to trigger early Brexit
Funny how in real life it gets rather prevented, yet more and more countries take an interest in ways to be more self-sufficient
> They do ... we call them the Chinese.
Lovely.
>corona is a disaster for feminism
Wtf, I love kung flu now
Suddenly strong men are more desirable, it only took a pandemic to reveal that.
Not to imagine the horror of women staying at home and taking care of children
> Authorities call for Pakistan, China to unite on locust swarm
It's ridiculous, what can you do. Impact the swarm up to 10% ?

Even memes about panic-buying acknowledge that household tasks such as food shopping are primarily shouldered by women. “I’m not afraid of COVID-19 but what is scary, is the lack of common sense people have,” reads one of the most popular tweets about the coronavirus crisis. “I’m scared for people who actually need to go to the store & feed their fams but Susan and Karen stocked up for 30 years.” The joke only works because “Susan” and “Karen”—stand-in names for suburban moms—are understood to be responsible for household management, rather than, say, Mike and Steve.```
This part is interesting though
Apparently being responsible for household management is detrimental
Just when you thought feminism wants all the power it can get <:smugon:512048583806025739>
we need smug sargon with pulsating red eyes as an emoji
.
Imagine feminists not being feminine enough to having had prepped... And now it comes crashing down on them.
They're missing the important part that household management was always in the hands of women. And it was a status thing, some places going so far that the women had the keys, the women decided where resources go to and men were there just to bring all that into the household and then get their share.
Well, put in a simplified manner
Not exactly because it was or used to be part of a careful balance of resource exchange
between men and women
Men earned housewifes who run the household and took care of life as we know it, the next generation...
I know it looks on the surface to the unintelligent and hurt as a form of usery but it's not
