As someone who has tried to put people back together after being ejected from vehicles, I can resoundly state I don't miss being in the back of pickeups

I wasn't even ALLOWED to come back before it was dark.

I stayed out all night... walking the streets of Perry, Oklahoma.

I basically hung out with my friends.... come back like 5 am in the morning.

We would randomly choose to stay the night at our friends house and the parents didn't care.

The kids in my neighborhood would hang out late into the evening

We would ride the different rides... spend all nights playing the carny games.
