Yeah. The only way to "Treat the disease of immigration" is to stop people from wanting to immigrate. Either fix their countries, make our country less appealing, or kill them so there aren't people that want to come here

I think that's the wrong solution

The only course of action is to reinforce our ability to repel illegals, like walls, more border patrol, etc

We need to decentivise people from coming here

i say we fix the counteries, it just feels wrong letting those places be a complete mess when we have the power to forcefully fix it, ya know?

And that requires 1 of 2 things

Make welfare increasingly difficult to get or completely rid ourselves of it entirely

I think fixing a broken country is impossible

That wouldn't stop it. America is just great and people would come here regardless of welfare

if we were to go in and fix it, that would just piss them off and cause more issues in the long run

But it would incentivize integration and legal status over illegal status

We'd have to either make America suck more than their countries, make their countries better, or KILL THEM. That's why the only thing we CAN do is repel them and hopefully encourage them to fix their own countries

People don't go to places just because they don't have to integrate.

They can not integrate to a new culture in their own countries

and the end of the day its resources

Unless you make other countries where immigrants come from 1st world and prosperous
