i see you're currently talking about the usual topic huh
it's the most pressing topic at hand
Then came the bra burning in 2nd wave @Undead Mockingbird
that's putting it too lightly.
Feminism, no matter what wave, was never about equality - from the Suffragets, throughout the White Feather Movement, to modern day feminism. It was never, ever about equality.
This is why I will always, always, always oppose feminism, in all its forms.
There are some feminists I can actually agree and respect
I don't oppose equal opportunity for women.
Like Susan B anthony
and Christine Paglia
Have you witnessed how some women get the shrill voice when they don't get what they want? *that is not a fun thing to be around even for a minute*
Anyone who still thinks that first wave feminism was good should read this book:
https://www.amazon.com/Feminist-Lie-Never-About-Equality-ebook/dp/B071SG95CN
Not the movement itself though
"CHristine blazy ford is a nationaL HerO" <:NPC:500042527231967262>
service guarantees citizenship :^)
christine paglia wanted to be able to do things men did
they want equal rights not equal responsibility
I don't think anyone thinks first wave was good. They were basically terrorists in dresses
on the same terms
I don't mind women having equal rights.
Im totally fine with that
Equal rights is not equal when your responsibilities are not equal.
yes
But I do think there were some good arguments to come out of second wave. I'm fully behind equality
I don't mind.
but thats where paglia is different
We lot crippled people vote
Two people who get $10 per hour are not equal when one works half as much.
why not let women vote
That is not equality.
she wanted the right to take on that responsability
not like today
We let welfare recipients vote
why not women
where its all about the pandering and nothing about the responsabilities
hmm
when things go wrong just blame men -feminsits 2018
equal rights are equal regardless of responsibility.
