Feminist is a person, feminism is an idea.

2018-10-31 04:26:24 UTC

most decent chicks no longer adopt the term feminist because of how toxic it's gotten

2018-10-31 04:26:47 UTC

Yes,but they are feminists for all intents and purposes.

2018-10-31 04:26:54 UTC

Nah, there are differences between feminism and 3rd wave. You just look for the women running in the opposite direction

2018-10-31 04:26:55 UTC

hello

2018-10-31 04:26:58 UTC

most people are feminists

2018-10-31 04:26:59 UTC

admitting what the feminists have turned into is a tough pill to swallow no matter how relaxed your throat is

2018-10-31 04:27:03 UTC

no one really actually hates women

2018-10-31 04:27:20 UTC

except maybe some incels somewhere with an ar15 in their school lunch box

2018-10-31 04:27:57 UTC

# not all incels

2018-10-31 04:28:02 UTC

I don't think even the first wave of feminism was about equality.

What did they campaign for?

Voting rights.

What did men have to do to vote? Give their life in the defense of their country.

It was never, ever about equality.

2018-10-31 04:28:12 UTC

Men died for the vote - women cried for the vote.

2018-10-31 04:28:21 UTC
2018-10-31 04:28:34 UTC

*Some,* I imagine are good people

2018-10-31 04:28:37 UTC

I think cried is an understatement

2018-10-31 04:28:39 UTC

i see you're currently talking about the usual topic huh

2018-10-31 04:28:50 UTC

it's the most pressing topic at hand

2018-10-31 04:28:51 UTC

Then came the bra burning in 2nd wave @Undead Mockingbird

2018-10-31 04:28:53 UTC

that's putting it too lightly.

2018-10-31 04:28:55 UTC

Feminism, no matter what wave, was never about equality - from the Suffragets, throughout the White Feather Movement, to modern day feminism. It was never, ever about equality.

2018-10-31 04:29:11 UTC

This is why I will always, always, always oppose feminism, in all its forms.

2018-10-31 04:29:31 UTC

There are some feminists I can actually agree and respect

2018-10-31 04:29:35 UTC

I don't oppose equal opportunity for women.

2018-10-31 04:29:38 UTC

Like Susan B anthony

2018-10-31 04:29:53 UTC

and Christine Paglia

2018-10-31 04:30:05 UTC

Have you witnessed how some women get the shrill voice when they don't get what they want? *that is not a fun thing to be around even for a minute*

2018-10-31 04:30:09 UTC

Anyone who still thinks that first wave feminism was good should read this book:

2018-10-31 04:30:15 UTC

Not the movement itself though

2018-10-31 04:30:56 UTC

christine paglia wanted to be able to do things men did

2018-10-31 04:30:59 UTC

they want equal rights not equal responsibility

2018-10-31 04:30:59 UTC

I don't think anyone thinks first wave was good. They were basically terrorists in dresses

2018-10-31 04:31:05 UTC

on the same terms

2018-10-31 04:31:11 UTC

not with special consideration

2018-10-31 04:31:14 UTC

I don't mind women having equal rights.

2018-10-31 04:31:36 UTC

Im totally fine with that

2018-10-31 04:31:44 UTC

Equal rights is not equal when your responsibilities are not equal.

2018-10-31 04:31:49 UTC

yes

2018-10-31 04:31:50 UTC

But I do think there were some good arguments to come out of second wave. I'm fully behind equality
