@Goddess Tyche The movies looked and sounded great, but I think they cut a bit too much.
That said, the books, especially the first one has an excessively slow beginning. And the chapters could've been a little shorter for convenience.
Cutting Bombadil was great.
They rushed the ending, tho.
So it balances out.
And then there's the nagging plot hole
