Cultures have been fasting for thousands of years
Your body still needs vitamins, and minerals, which I get through a supplement I take every morning.
Vitamins and minerals don't fuel you bro. Fasting slows your metabolism so you put the weight straight back on afterward most times with interest

The only people who follow that line of thought are fat people, and those who had no self control, so they became fat again, I fasted for months, with day breaks twice a week, and I lost weight, and then when I returned to a normal diet, I kept the weight off, and I stayed the same weight, I didn't decide that I could go back to eating like I was a fat person again, like most do.
I consume calories, but just enough to do basic needs.
And I exercise.
I got off a several mile, innawoods ruck last night
It included a half mile jog with all the gear.

I will go somedays without eating, but that's only low activity days when I don't have exercise planned.

That's what I think of when I hear fasting. As far as I know, it's what most people do, cut out everything
The average male needs to consume 2500 to maintain weight, that's with basic daily activity, like a regular job, etc, I consume under 500.
In my case, I learned self control early in life and one must not give into weight confidence issues. Some people grow obsessed that they’re never able to lose weight (typically they expect quick results rooted in impatience), so they become depressed or develop a lack of proper eating which causes them to nearly starve to death.

I actually got into the mindset of "I can't lose weight" like a year before i started losing ALOT of weight.
I'll be a a turbohulk yet
My diet is a mixture. I walk 1-2 miles a day, not counting walking around the house or not intentional exercise, I drink only water and consume bare minimum to keep under 2,000 calories.
I walk until my legs burn.

The food however is apples, bananas, purple seedless grapes, Raman noodles, soups and other small meals.
I walk a lot but I try to stay away from real cardio
I do consume one subway footlong but my sandwich is just carbs.
I eat whatever fruit I come across on trees

I'm not looking to run away or chase anyone down

I have done that Justin literally a day ago, walking on my lands sharp rock path nearly barefoot for 20 laps. The road alone is almost a mile.
I have never felt my feet become so sore.
But I did it again today.
I literally don't eat any GMO or cultivated fruit
