and you will argue suicidal people have the same narrow view. I dont see how you could argue that if by definition they have at least one option within their view which you dont and potentialy everything you do and more. @DrWittMDPhD
"he's a symbol of white rule"
and then it's like
"WHITE SUPREMACIST"
What do you mean by that last part
i should cross compare the articles
Idk what you're trying to get at
**he's a doctor**
By defintiion their "narrow view" includes the option of suicide and maybe everything and more as you have in your view as well. They may or may not have those other paths in their view, they probably do but they have at least one option in their view that you dont.
Im 20mins into episode one... and everyone so far has been white.... for shame poland... clearly racialists
No, the narrow view I'm talking about is the lens they view life. They are seeing life only that suicidal frame when they could possibly get out of that
They don't see the potential happiness that might come if they get help
Especially people that are under extreme stress in one situation
were you ever in that frame? Would you be surprised that most people that are in that frame have been in a frame where they arent suicidal and can remember that?
Their frame of mind is completely focused on one tragic or stressful thing
is this a sex joke?
thats... actualy not the case for people suffering clinical depression, at least for psychiatric reasons (which most of them are)
One of Joshua Nkhomo's nicknames: "Umafukufuku"
Manic periods aren't the same as being free of the burden of depression
They arent focussing on anything bad at all. They just *feel* a certain way
Also they aren't going to be considering suicide in a manic episode, only in that **temporary** depressive episode
I believe the end of a manic episode is actually a period where someone is much more likely to kill themselves.
@DrWittMDPhD has a valid point. For me as someone who was suicidal and had depression cognitive behavioral therapy was the best way to cope with my depression.
are you...
Yes that feeling is the lens they live in during depressive periods
Saves them the trouble of actually getting to the depressive episode
okay why are manic episodes a topic? Depression was the topic what the heck does that have to do with mania?
depression isnt the same as being bipolar
Two sides of the same coin, I suppose is why it came up.
Idk you mentioned people that are periodically not depressed. Bipolar is one such example of people that are in a cycle
Bipolar has extreme highs and lows
But it is different to clinical depression
If you have phases of depression and normality, you aren't going to want to kill yourself in the normal phase. That suggests that the depressive phase is the temporary frame of mind that is causing suicidal thought
Not considering that they might go back into a normal phase
Oh Japan.... you had to go and make Rosie Palm Waifu.
I hate the East tbh
well, no, as ssuch a person i can tell you at least after the firstdepressive episode (which in my case lasted 1 year) i knew everytime it would go back to normal. I was never wanting to kill myself by the way, sure i thought about it but i didnt actualy plan to do it, but i wouldnt fault anyone for doing it for that reason. And during the first i knew it, too, its not hard to read up on all of that...
So you never wanted to kill yourself? Depression and't the same as depression + suicidal thoughts and desires
Though while i havent done it in... at least a decade... just like psychologists, i will defend "selfharming behaviour". Its a solid logical choice to inflict pain to your body *becouse* due to evolution thats seen as much more important by our brains than that, and its less severe, too.
