It shoots good, it need timing adjusted so He’ll need to take it to a Smith and have them pull the bolt and pull the bolt handle and re-weld it. I’m surprised it wasn’t timed correctly.

It’s only 100 buck job but I check and everything else is superb from the bedding to lug truing. 95% of the marking compound wipes away when I close the bolt. Which is really good for what still is a production rifle. But if I was to choose between the two I would buy two of my mil spec gun before the m40x at retail pricing.
