it's actually a great idea, because leftie brits hate Israel too

2018-12-09 12:48:22 UTC

There is also the whole sympathy that Israel has with the idea "Hey we don't want the international community to dictate who gets to come shit in our backyard."

2018-12-09 12:49:44 UTC

Israel shoots illegal migrants before they even approach their border, literally based 😎

2018-12-09 12:50:22 UTC

Terrorists not migrants.

2018-12-09 12:50:32 UTC

But close enough.

2018-12-09 12:51:27 UTC

Israel built a nice wall for the migrant problem.

Getting humiliated and dominated

2018-12-09 13:44:47 UTC

🤔

2018-12-09 13:45:06 UTC

explains why the left is losing so much

2018-12-09 13:45:09 UTC

and being exposed

2018-12-09 13:45:23 UTC

expozzed

2018-12-09 13:46:07 UTC

what is the left? what is the right? last time I asked that question it was framed by the word 'progressive', which is equally meaningless on its own ;P

2018-12-09 13:46:56 UTC

left is the people who want "the greater good", centralised government control, regulation and believe Collective > individual

the right is the people who want self-determination, small government and believe Individual > collective
and free market

2018-12-09 13:48:20 UTC

and the authoritarian/libertarian axis is for the two group-ish things:
- You do what we say or else

and

- We aughta have <side>, i think that'd be nice

2018-12-09 13:48:39 UTC

By that metric, I'm on the left, along with people like, say, Louis XVI.

2018-12-09 13:49:01 UTC

could be, i don't know your political viewpoints that well Bookworm 😛

2018-12-09 13:49:23 UTC

Yeah, but if you say "Louis XVI was a leftist politician", people will look at you funny.

2018-12-09 13:49:49 UTC

Left and Right are a manifestation of a Democratic System that divides the citizenry in two divided camps, built on the Blood of their own Kings and Queens...

2018-12-09 13:49:50 UTC

what makes Louis the 16th a leftist in your eyes?

2018-12-09 13:49:58 UTC

Bring Back Monarchy

#MonGang

2018-12-09 13:50:06 UTC

👑

2018-12-09 13:50:31 UTC

He centralized french rule under the monarchy, reducing aristocratic power and putting almost all regulatory power in his hands.

2018-12-09 13:50:43 UTC

*doesnt have an issue with a Monarch as head of state as long as elected parliament rules*

2018-12-09 13:51:01 UTC

🤮

2018-12-09 13:51:08 UTC

*Doesn't have an issue with democratic representatives in government as long as they have no actual power*

2018-12-09 13:51:09 UTC

having a 2nd alternative authority in event of elected govt. failing and being unable to govern is not a bad thing

2018-12-09 13:51:32 UTC

thats called having a re-election

2018-12-09 13:51:55 UTC

also @Bookworm , he centralized all power in his hands

what makes that a collective exactly?

2018-12-09 13:52:06 UTC

its called a fringe and rare event.

2018-12-09 13:52:15 UTC

nah, most Parliamentary Countries have a President or a "Monarch" type position

2018-12-09 13:52:35 UTC

that's the person who rules at times of Governmental Crisis

2018-12-09 13:52:37 UTC

or Prime Minister

2018-12-09 13:52:48 UTC

that's the elected head
