Ok, I’m writing a fiction book about where one day, in an alternate timeline, the earth becomes the size of a large star, and yet gravity remains the same, and it’s about exploration and the societal change that brings about

Ive had dreams just like that, where elements of skyrim such as magic and new creatures and races are mixed in. Even undemonized versions of the demons found in the DOOM franchise.

Ive thought about it as "The Expansion"
As if vast distances were opened up and locations such as your neighbors house and yours would be farther apart with completely new terrain in between the structures.
Sorry if i seem cryptic i just finished doom 2016 and am feeling, enlightened? I feel pumped up and more creative rn.

idk - in my dreams, I always find the World condensed.

Like, I'm DEFINITELY dreaming of my AO ; but the 8mi walk to town is a second ; the beaches are all directly connected, instead of separated by breadths of woods ; the lake 100mi away is hiking distance ; the water is only knee deep and you can walk to most of the islands ; etc

But the idea of stretching out our World across the surface of a Sun. . . you could do a lot with that 👀

Yeah, that’s why I like the idea, that and the thought of so much unexplored land, no one in the last hundred years has really experienced being able to see go on an expedition to parts truly unknown, I’m enjoying the writing process

Nope, basically the earth folds out, and gets stitched together with other planets along fault lines, but our area on the earth is recognizable as our area of earth from orbit, it just takes up very very little space
