2020-03-14 15:07:52 UTC

2020-03-14 15:09:00 UTC

2020-03-14 17:33:45 UTC

2020-03-14 17:33:55 UTC

2020-03-14 17:34:01 UTC

2020-03-14 21:38:44 UTC

guide for people who have zero equipment at home

2020-03-15 20:06:02 UTC

2020-03-21 16:42:13 UTC

So what are some stuff I can do at home for cardio since public gatherings are banned

2020-03-21 16:43:12 UTC

Running is legitimately one of the best ones 🤷🏻‍♂️

2020-03-21 16:46:33 UTC

They did say running is gucci so long as you stay 6ft away from people you dont live with

2020-03-21 16:52:40 UTC

Yeah that's true. Probably head to the park since everyone is a pussy

2020-03-21 16:53:05 UTC

Fr the park in my town is always empty now

2020-03-21 16:53:22 UTC

Still legal to go there, people just don't very much rn

2020-03-21 16:57:48 UTC

Didnt think about it that way. The park is always packed. It's got a 1.5 mile path to run or walk on. It's pretty sweet

2020-03-21 16:59:03 UTC

Yeah, running is good. I'd recommend trying it with you bug out bag or something of similar weight. Train like you might have to act

2020-03-22 02:50:31 UTC

Run with bag, and interval training is good.

2020-03-22 02:50:59 UTC

Sprint for as long as you can and do it again as soon as you get your breath back

2020-03-22 02:51:10 UTC

It absolutely kills but will get you fit as a dog in weeks

2020-03-22 11:24:28 UTC

@James Warner v true my guy i put my plate carrier under my hoodie and take the mags out and go for about 2 miles another great exercise is rucking i camp and hike so thats my "ruck" put 72 hours worth of food water gear etc in a pack and maybe some extra weight and go walk for a couple miles great for the shoulders and back just wear some good footwear, treat your feet right and your feet will treat you right, maybe cant do it "at home" but definitely without a gym, and for at home maybe vertical jumps and stair case walks tbh

2020-03-23 17:22:23 UTC

I've got my 50ish pound ruck ready to go, gonna definitely do a number of ^that stuff as well as some 35lb dumbells to do some lunges and squats (with the ruck on too)

2020-03-24 12:23:37 UTC

dude rock on! i started jogging with my plate carrier again just tuck it under my hoodie lmk how it goes!

2020-03-25 05:00:54 UTC

Found a new fitness app y'all should try

2020-03-25 05:11:44 UTC

@somethingoriginalx was planning on a 5 mile ruck with my pack, ended up accidentally doing 6.4. i haven't gone that far with an actual pack in a long time but I got it done. Now my left leg is fucked up but it's nothing stretching can't fix.

2020-03-25 05:12:20 UTC

time to do some body weight upper body shit at home and let my muscles repair for a few days

2020-03-25 05:13:58 UTC

the good thing is absolutely no pain in my back and just normal pain in feet (i wear Lowa's which are the most comfortable nicest hiking boots I have ever used)

2020-03-25 05:14:10 UTC

meaning I set my pack up right

2020-03-25 12:57:16 UTC

@Bard good man lowas are really nice and im happy you took the time to set up your ruck my ocd kills me with that lol im still hype about my solomans tho sorry

2020-03-25 13:00:27 UTC

2020-03-25 13:03:26 UTC

how do you pack it?

2020-03-25 13:03:38 UTC

also SWOL

2020-03-25 13:08:19 UTC

Well heavier stuff more towards my center of gravity, sleeping bag on bottom, and lighter stuff as it goes up. I have water collection and treatment on one side, and smaller tools on the left. Idk, it feels like its not organized the best with all the space it has

2020-03-25 13:12:05 UTC

So you dont have to worry about organization only with smaller sustainment pouches and your common use items you wanna focous on center of mass/center of gravity ill get my pack in a sec but a easy way to test is to get a 2x4 and balamce horizontal weight on the ticker side and vertical weight on thinner i have bad skulliosis so i can tell easily when something aint right
