Yeah... it works wonders!

EU isnt Europe as such

Nearly at 300,000.#

2019-01-05 09:30:50 UTC

I voted leave over sovereignty concerns, but I dont want to leave the EU in such a manner. I'm ok with a transition period, guarenteeing EU citizen right to remain and work in the UK and fulfilling UK obligations and commitments we signed up to prior to the referendum

2019-01-05 09:31:11 UTC

lol why did tim leave the server?

2019-01-05 09:31:19 UTC

That is what I asked...

2019-01-05 09:31:21 UTC

😦

2019-01-05 09:31:41 UTC

UK just drops out and ignores previous obligations why should any country believe our word after that?

2019-01-05 09:31:45 UTC

In a perfect world yes. But we are being sold down the river. They had their chance to do it properly but choose this.

2019-01-05 09:31:59 UTC

we ? you're a fellow Brit I assume

2019-01-05 09:32:09 UTC

Yeah

2019-01-05 09:32:18 UTC

btw I vote and am a member of the lib dems (because other than EU and firearm laws most of my views are close to lib dem views)

2019-01-05 09:32:24 UTC

Fischer SX best thing ever to be invented!

2019-01-05 09:32:53 UTC

a disorderly drop out from the EU concerns the crap out of me tbh

2019-01-05 09:33:14 UTC

project fear maybe but common sense and logic does support their view points ;P

2019-01-05 09:33:33 UTC

It's better than the plan May has written up for us.

2019-01-05 09:34:10 UTC

tbh in my view its remain, mays plan or drop out disastriously no deal

2019-01-05 09:34:16 UTC

given those choices I'd vote remain

2019-01-05 09:35:20 UTC

Tim didn’t leave, his discord is in offline mode, you can still @ him lol

2019-01-05 09:35:27 UTC

Before the referendum I felt it was too late, we were already too tightly wound up in EU from a economic and political POV and was going to vote remain despite that I strongly disagree with UK membership and dislike/distrust the EU more than I dislike and distrust our govt. But, at the voting booth changed my mind for an emotional reason

2019-01-05 09:36:14 UTC

I'm glad you made the right choice in the end.

2019-01-05 09:36:35 UTC

the EU is leaning on the UK to function, while the UK has many options for trading partners. Further, it's not like the UK is calling the shots. So what's the sense in staying?

2019-01-05 09:38:26 UTC

well, 2 years of "negotiating" was a complete waste of time. EU red lines and UK red lines werent compatible.

2019-01-05 09:38:40 UTC

right but that was obvious from the start

2019-01-05 09:38:59 UTC

Tim isn't gone

2019-01-05 09:39:04 UTC

as for the irish border? Annex the republic of Ireland. Military operations will be over within days and the screaming will be over by easter ... a easter, hopefully this coming easter .... 😉

2019-01-05 09:39:05 UTC

He's just offline

2019-01-05 09:40:35 UTC

That May is still going is a testament to the inadequacy of your political system. As for Ireland, people are just deliberately being difficult on all sides across this whole transition. I sincerely doubt no actual solution can be reached

2019-01-05 09:41:07 UTC

if we had an alternative political system we would never have got the referendum

2019-01-05 09:41:18 UTC

UKIP would have grown to be the nations 3rd largest party

2019-01-05 09:42:01 UTC

we'd end up like france :S forever running a russian roulette every election that people would be so dillusioned to pull the trigger and vote for a nutty right or nutty left party

2019-01-05 09:42:16 UTC

though, I'm fed up with FPTP

2019-01-05 09:42:32 UTC

duality of stupidity between the labour party and the conservative party is getting on my wick

2019-01-05 09:43:45 UTC

**J☃#8053** just left the server.

2019-01-05 09:45:20 UTC

it's ultimately the same issue that Canada has been having - Politicians think they can basically get away with anything, because they can and have. The EU is guaranteed to have this issue tenfold because theyre not even directly elected. There's several layers of fuckery that have to be dealt with before any of these dipshits have to worry about consequences

2019-01-05 09:45:32 UTC

hello, friends

2019-01-05 09:45:40 UTC

i am returned yet again

2019-01-05 09:45:47 UTC

This is, after all, the same institution that ignored pretty much every major economist telling them that a single currency across multiple markets was a completely batshit, pants on head stupid idea
