@EndangeredProdigy I'm saying all things being equal....genocide and ethnic supremacy is much worst then indiscriminate killing

2019-02-11 02:31:37 UTC

I heard you the first time

2019-02-11 02:31:45 UTC

I said no it's not

2019-02-11 02:31:51 UTC

killing is bad regardless of the context

2019-02-11 02:32:02 UTC

@EndangeredProdigy Context matters...thats why we have premeditated murder..crime of passion involuntary etc

2019-02-11 02:32:17 UTC

involuntary is totally different than murder

2019-02-11 02:32:32 UTC

and crime of passion vs premeditated is bullshit

2019-02-11 02:32:56 UTC

@Kelz I disagree with you. First because Stalin was not "indiscriminate." He murdered his enemies the same as Hitler. Second, if you think the reasons someone murders people by the millions makes a difference then I fear your desire to give Stalin a pass has warped your judgement.

2019-02-11 02:32:59 UTC

The main issue between hitler and Stalin, is the preferential treatment to communism establishment media gave it, that allowed many more deaths to happen.

2019-02-11 02:33:11 UTC

@EndangeredProdigy How so...Alot of people were killed thru starvation....that sounds like government negligence thru government planning (communism)

2019-02-11 02:33:21 UTC

so your excusing mao creating famines that killed 200 million chinese for not being 'ethnic supremacy' because at least it wasn't as bad as the 11 million halocaust victims

2019-02-11 02:33:32 UTC

Stalin starved them on purpose

2019-02-11 02:33:36 UTC

it wasn't an accident

2019-02-11 02:33:54 UTC

**Beatnik Hearse#9687** just left the server.

2019-02-11 02:34:01 UTC

When you are taking about tens and hundreds of thousands dead does it matter who is worse?

2019-02-11 02:34:03 UTC

It was the Americans that tried to save the Ukranians

2019-02-11 02:34:22 UTC

They are both abhorrent

2019-02-11 02:34:26 UTC

Thank you Americans

2019-02-11 02:34:35 UTC

We are saved

2019-02-11 02:34:38 UTC

@CasualSailor Yes it does matter......Stalin killed people who he thought were betraying him and killing people for reasons such as self defense etc is a big difference from genociding people based on nothing but their race

2019-02-11 02:34:50 UTC

Can you do the whole saving thing again? @Khanclansith

2019-02-11 02:34:50 UTC

"Joseph Stalin, leader of the Soviet Union, set in motion events designed to cause a famine in the Ukraine to destroy the people there seeking independence from his rule. As a result, an estimated 7,000,000 persons perished in this farming area, known as the breadbasket of Europe, with the people deprived of the food they had grown with their own hands."

2019-02-11 02:34:54 UTC
2019-02-11 02:34:55 UTC

stalin saw all living beings as betraying him

2019-02-11 02:34:56 UTC

Hitler thought Jews were betraying him

2019-02-11 02:35:04 UTC

I hate the "who is worse" debates, it's like middle school Batman vs superman arguments.

2019-02-11 02:35:05 UTC

@Misomania I said all things being euqal

2019-02-11 02:35:08 UTC

Herbert Hover of all people orgnized the releif efforts of American Private Charities

2019-02-11 02:35:23 UTC

So if you are justifying stalin on those grounds you are absolving Hitler

2019-02-11 02:35:38 UTC

@Kelz That's pretty warped thinking. So, if I murder you to steal your wallet it is somehow better than if I murder you because of your race? I don't think so. This kind of thinking is why I don't believe in "hate crimes." All murders are "hate crimes." Otherwise they are call manslaughter.

2019-02-11 02:36:24 UTC

I cant have like 10 convos...lets slow this down

2019-02-11 02:36:25 UTC

so because Stalin thought that people were betraying him it makes it less bad for him to have killed millions of people? @Kelz

2019-02-11 02:36:26 UTC

@Kelz remember they signed a peace treaty? Do you know why germany broke that truce? because he knew a fellow mass murdering psychopath when he saw one and knew it was simply a matter of whom backstabbed the other first. He saw himself in stalin and knew that stalin saw himself in hitler

2019-02-11 02:36:33 UTC

Perhaps if you framed the original question differently

2019-02-11 02:36:39 UTC

Seems like a poisoned mind eroded from severe digestion of identity politics.

2019-02-11 02:36:47 UTC

its not about who is morally worse

2019-02-11 02:36:59 UTC

Seriously lets all slow down

2019-02-11 02:37:06 UTC

and take this one at time

2019-02-11 02:37:13 UTC

go ahead

2019-02-11 02:37:22 UTC

Their were like 10 points being made
