@lolfire I was pretty much the only competent server that joined in the right timeframe, for a month the only other server was this guy who only worked 8 hours a week and was a lazy piece of shit who'd argue with other staff in front of customers. Against that, I was pretty high up on the list and my suggestions went pretty far because I was the only properly full-time worker.

I was one of the only people who could do a closing shift as a server which meant doing shit like topping up all the takeaway shit, getting all the cardboard broken down and taken out, that kinda shit. sounds easy but there's a hell of a lot to keep track of. I also did kitchen work when they needed boosting, and eventually got informal training as a barista
